Batman, the dark knight. Protector of the innocent, slayer of creatures from the dark and enthusiast of pitch black, thick stouts like this Black Albert from @struisebreweries . What a beer! Fast fading mocha head on top. An intense rich aroma of dark chocolate, stewed fruit, booze, roasted malts, bread crust and a touch of solvent escapes from this oily liquid. Sweet kick, velvet mouthfeel, sticky and finishing on a roasted bitter putting some balance in there against that big sweetness. Truely a big Stout, a Belgian Royal Stout! A masterpiece.
