The Beer Vote
So, I hear the president supposedly homebrews. I think that's great, and I can respect him a little more now for sharing a passion that I also have, ( only if its a genuine passion, not some sleezy political move to try to gain the independents votes ). However, I would not vote for him anymore than I would trade a glass of Dogfish Heads 90-min IPA for a Budlight. I am also surprised that microbreweries, many of which are independently owned small businesses, have not spoke out against his "You didn't build that" speech. I know many say that he was talking about infrastructure. I believe that is a load of pisswater *ahem* I mean budlight. This president has done nothing to help small businesses and his Obamacare plan will put further financial burden on those who own and work at our great microbreweries. That in turn could mean less growth in the craftbeer business. Or even more troublesome, possibly force some of the smaller younger microbreweries to close...I'm sorry, but that just crosses the damn line.
