okay now imagine Little Yang getting a bedtime story from Summer and wanting to be the knight in shining armour, but also wanting to have her own knight she could fight monsters with. NOW imagine Yang comparing Blake to the knights from the stories, going to her mother's grave and whispering, "I think I finally found my knight, Mom."

One of my main thoughts or headcanons I have thought of lately is that Team RWBY has mirrored what we know of Team STRQ, but not in the way most people think they mirror Team STRQ.

Most people just assume Ruby is meant to be the mirror to Summer but I don't think Ruby is the mirror to Summer, I think Weiss is the mirror to Summer.

Blake (Raven) runs away from the team leaving Yang (Taiyang) Devastated, Weiss (Summer) ends up being the one who comforts Yang and helps her move on. Though we see that Team RWBY is succeeding where Team STRQ failed, which is also why I think Bees schnees could actually be a possiblity STR failed but Bees schnees will end up as a happy relationship.

meanwhile Ruby (Qrow) has been quietly suffering without letting anyone know that she has been, but WBY eventually notice and are now trying to help her.

Why bees schnees a short thesis

Selling people on bees schnees is a hard and difficult question. I think that the easiest way to approach it is from a suffering Weiss perceptive for curious shippers. This will not be comprehensive.  This ship is multifaceted and beyond my capabilities to explain in text without sufficient help. Anyways without further adieu why bees schnees the suffering Weiss angle.

What if I told you that for the most popular ship in the fandom there was a phenomenon that I have not seen anywhere else. That a character was so entwined within the dynamic of the core ship that she was assigned as the perpetual third wheel. That without her they would have never gotten back together or have had such a rich understanding of the other. Who's always been their strongest supporter. Who had faith in either of two of them when the other didn't. This is the case for Weiss Schnee, the bee's strongest support and sufferer. 

This is very clearly love, of that there is no doubt. Whether platonic or romantic is a wider, stranger question, but one I pose because it is both in character for Weiss and elaborates on an already engaging dynamic. I believe that a deep friendship that blossoms into a forbidden love for Blake and Yang is completely in line with Weiss's tendencies to both fall on her sword and her personal emotional constipation. Weiss can not let herself have nice things, it's only something she's learned and that atlas arc and well we all know how that went. She also can't get in the way of bees' personal relationship regardless of whatever their personal feelings for her could be because she sees how clearly they need each other.

This kind of conflict is just juicy. I could devour it like an over ripe mango any day.

It pits Weiss's wants against each other in a way that is just so sexy. She suffers not just from their antics but from the want that being around them fills her heart with. It pushes her character arc forward well past the cold ice queen this fandom oft finds her in but into a frontier of the later seasons of a stuck between her wants and her presumed duty to her friends. To resolve it forces her to communicate in a way that does not come easily for her. To bare corner of her heart that hurt to share. 

This is ultimately just a small part of the stuffing Weiss thesis but I trust I’ve made my point. Its already quite a lengthy write up for a response to any question. But if you have any further questions please ask. This was fun.
