A note in the Grande Markets
If anyone needs to borrow the book on amputations, PLEASE just take it, note down what you need, and put it back.
DO NOT rip out pages or hide it somewhere potentially dangerous. That book, as well as several others on similar subjects and the stormheart medical tools were a generous gift from our friend Rook, to help the ENTIRE Trevisan public.
Many of us never had to do this before, and none of us want to find themselves "winging" a medical procedure because the book on the matter was stashed in a nest under the bridge.

What does it mean nobody knows who makes them? Did they just spawn out of the cobblestones one day?

What's with the hooks? They look like surgical instruments...
