Is that a custom-built computer or an off-the-shelf one? - Either way you might want to try a fresh reinstall of windows first, either from the CD or the recovery partition. If it is a pre-built one then it may be better to try to exchange it now rather than wait for the issue to get worse.
It is a pre-built off-the-shelf computer yeah, and literally the whole drag and drop/open links issue is the ONLY issue it has. Everything else literally runs like a dream. I honestly only bring it up BECAUSE everything is running so perfectly that it feels out of place on a brand new computer.
Mind you I can also just manually do everything, it’s slightly less convenient but it gets the job done all the same. Like it’s the difference of ‘right click and save as, find the file location and hit save’ over’ drag and drop the file into the location’, or vice-versa with opening files.
It’s not enough of a pain for me to want to go through with returning it, but I might end up taking to Geek Squad and having them look at it since I got the PC from Best Buy. A little costly but I’m sure they’d know their pre-built PCs better than anyone.
Which would mean I need to wait till I have money again, which wouldn’t be till like, February lol
