Hoping to get this swarm trap and another hung today. And hoping to build about 6 more over the next month. Is it to early? I really don't think so. Will hives be swarming right now? I doubt it. But there are many people that believe scout bees are out looking ASAP in the spring for places to bring the swarms. I'm also using @theunclehoss swarm lures he sent me. They make sense and use what in used last year to catch a swarm. They are beeswax and lemongrass oil. Simple! Effective!
