Beetle wing necklaces

As I've mentioned before in a post about Egyptian jewel beetles, necklaces made of beetle wings are a quite old concept, and still part of the traditional jewelry of some groups. These necklaces, in my experience, are usually simple: elytras strung on a cord. These can get a little more complicated in design, especially in particular cultural traditions. These necklaces aren't traditional, and try to incorporate the elytra into modern designs.

He was doing parkore when my mom noticed his wings was out, i let him bathe in dirt but idiot scared me by not doing shit about his wangs the whole night. Idiot acted like nothing was wrong and he was fine nah man you wings is stuck

He got them back in the next morning thank goodness, so i can laugh about this moment and show you instead of worrying even more
