Octransfur 2024 Day 12: Experiment
Be careful when venturing to Wasteland. You might end up as a test subject in one of the Mad Doctor's experiments.

Ok, just look through all of this, folks. I don’t have time to put every image of every piece of concept art I missed on my computer and upload them. There’s stuff I’ve never seen before on here!
Hi, I made a book about my AU called Ink Drops of the Past
The first chapter is short but i plan making the others way longer
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22223875/chapters/53063134
Description:
Herbie was going to be the basis for a type of Blotworx known as Rockers, buuut since he wasn’t used, he’s still fair game.
This guy has dozens of movies with essentially the same plot:
Herbie is a car who is alive, protagonist doesn’t believe he’s alive, Herbie does stuff to show he’s alive, eventually Herbie feels abandoned and tries to commit suicide, but protagonist stops him after they realize and accept he’s alive, and they win races. The next sequel happens, and it starts over.
Herbie was milked and milked during his prime, and eventually he was rebooted (sort of) in Herbie Fully Loaded, but since then has not made any film appearances.
In Wasteland:
As I mentioned, he was going to be used as a Blotworx, but to be honest, I think a living car would easily get out of The Mad Doctor’s lab, and find his way to Autototopia.
...Or...after escaping the Mad Doc...
Herbie is a car who is alive, but Oswald doesn’t believe he’s alive, Herbie does stuff to show he’s alive, eventually Herbie feels abandoned and tries to commit suicide, but Oswald stops him after he realizes and accepts he’s alive, and they win races.
...And then Oswald and the Gremlins give Herbie some upgrades to run Wasteland and maybe get to places the Projectors and DEC can’t go.
Oswald’s a mechanic in Disneyland, it would work.
In Wasteland:
Add some other animatronics to turn it into a Beetleworx, and you get a BOSS FIIIIIIIIIGHT!
SHADOW OF COLOSSUS STYLE!
CLIMB THE YETI!
I mean, I don’t know where it would actually be in Wasteland, BUT WHO CARES?! GIANT BOSS BATTLE!!!
In Wasteland:
Interesting, but I honestly don’t think The Pooped Pirate would be in Epic Mickey. The pooped pirate was remodeled, not scrapped as the video says, and even if he did end up in Wasteland, I doubt Oswald (or any of Wasteland’s residents) would EVER allow an implied rapist to roam Wasteland free.
Not happening.
And since it’s essentially implied that the toons decide which animatronics are scrapped for parts and which ones actually get to live (dark, now that I think about it) I think he’d just be Beetleworx parts. ....Wait a minute.
Nevermind, they don’t look enough alike.
In Wasteland:
Possible Beetleworx parts could come from:
Weebo (from the Flubber remake)
Robot Shark (From James and the Giant Peach)
B.E.N. (from Treasure Planet)
Martian Robot (from Mars and Beyond)
S.I.R. (from the defunct Alien Encounter Ride)
Sentry Robots (from The Black Hole)
S.T.A.R. (from The Black Hole)
Gregarious (from Aladdin (Tv Series))
Wirewolf (from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command)
NOS-4-A2 (from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command)
Bonus:
Tik-Tok from Return to Oz was already used in Epic Mickey 2 as a basher.
I will be making more of these compilations,
