Kablammo!
Some random art of my favorite wasp, @putukspitsvenom.bsky.social's Kablammo ready to destroy you all... or at least blow stuff up real good like.
there is a wasp called the "beewolf" that hunts bees
(theres over a hundred species of beewolf actually)
I remember reading beewolf epic poem in college and he did do all of that
Karablammo
She said she doesn't sing, EVER. She said she wouldn't be seen in public with a stupid bunny rabbit. But get enough gunpowder martinis in Kablammo and all of a sudden...

Meet and greet the Beewolf. She hunts for bees to paralyze with a sting she places on the under side of the victim between the 1st & 2nd pairs of legs then carries home feed to her young.
At first I thought she was the reason so many nest entrances are caved in and she may still be responsible for many to most of them, but not all of them. She kicks lots of dirt around trying to provoke the nests guard bee to come out where she can overpower it.

@microecobus submitted: Hello, i’ve seen a very beautiful Crowned Beewolf (Philanthus coronatus) in July
These ocean blue eyes and big mandibles are so magnificent
What a beautiful friend with very impressive jaws! And lovely eyes :)
I thought this was a weevil wasp but it's actually a type of beewolf (in the same subfamily as weevil wasps), Philanthus gibbosus.

Here's a commission for @Putukspitsvenom, who wanted his beewolf character, Harriet, done in the style of the Atomic Series, but this time as a mutant compound! P.S. In case you're wondering, "Ka" is a symbol for a made up element known as "Kaboomium." Like what you see? Want a commission like this? Check it out here!
