Lost & Insecure; you found me
168 hours more formally known as seven days that was exactly how long Bela Talbot had left until her soul was violently dragged to hell. It really wasn’t long at all no matter how she worded it it didnt matter all that much due to the simple fact her due date was quickly approaching and the worst part being there was nothing she could do about it. Truthfully it wasn’t the fact that she was going to die that plagued her it was more knowing exactly when and how it was going to go down infact she had already had so many nightmares about her demise that she was certain when her final minutes on earth rolled around she would experience the world’s strongest case of dejavu.
As it stood she had spent far too much time trying to find a way out of her deal, some kind of loophole that could lead to her being spared. She had screwed over everyone who may have had a chance in helping her now all that was left was to wait , it was too late to start crossing items off of her bucket list meaning not only was she going to die but she was going to die alone and lonely never having known love or even compassion from another living soul her parents included, hell if it hadn’t of been for her the traumatising childhood of sexual assault her parents had inflicted upon her she wouldn’t be in this mess but she had done what she felt was right at the time.
Making a deal in exchange for the death of both of her parents who did nothing but make her life a living hell her father sexually abusing her and her mother ignoring what had been going on right under her nose, yet even now ten years later while on deaths door she didn’t regret the deal she had made in fact her only regret in life was that she had no one who would so much as wonder what had happened when she suddenly disappeared. She was about to be condemned to an eternity of pain and torture in the fiery pits of hell and not a single person gave a damn or even understood.
It had been in the mist of her self pity that it dawned on her that there was someone who knew exactly what she was going through , someone who no doubt was experiencing all of the same feelings as she currently was and despite their not so friendly past at the very least it was comforting that Dean would be able to relate to how she was feeling even if he didn’t care. Due to her profession she had been blessed with the special skill of finding anybody anywere meaning she had tracked Dean down using the GPS on his phone to a small town bar miles from anyone or anything.
Pulling up outside she stepped out of her car making her way towards the door she pushed it open and stepped inside the door slamming shut behind her as the stench of stale beer and overwhelming smoke filled her nostrils her eyes rested upon the back of Deans head as he sat at the bar exactly were she had bargained on him being. Slowly and carefully she stepped across the mildly busy premises heels clicking loudly against the cheap beer stained oak floorboards she weaved im and out of tables until she found herself next to him. His expression was broken pretty much identical to the one of her own , sighing deeply she took a seat in the vacant bar stool her eyes catching his for mere seconds as she uttered a low “I heard you had an open vacancy for a drinking partner…” her tone lacking her usual witty sarcastic banter she was best known for as terror shone through her facial reaction.
