I regret to inform the Counsel that I’ve Reread Homestuck. Haven’t reread it fully since it ended… was actually nice to read it again, I just regret what I’m about to inflict on y’all LMAO

So here’s some Beforus!Karkat, because I think about the Beforus ancestors a lot I:<B

The night had been going well so far, Kaikan had left for the palace to do his job as the personal guardian of Her Imperial Radiance, and he had the hive to himself. Of course, he also liked having the burly mutant around, but sometimes, it was nice to have some peace and quiet to just code for a while without being yelled at every five seconds. Not that he didnt deserve it, but hey, when the husktop called, it called. And Alhena was never good at resisting the call. Though, when the phone rang, he wished that it was that one call he could ignore. Sighing, he floated over the phone, picking up. "Yes? Alhena Captor here. Who is it?" When he heard the voice on the other end, he didnt know if he should have been reliefed or even more terrified. "Heeeey Al! I just wanted to ask you someting reel quick." Oh dear, Her Imperious Radiance herself. "Yeah? And what would that be your Radiance?" "Why is my Moirail damaged?" "What?" "I asked why my Moirail and personal Guard is damaged." The yellowblood could faintly hear the mutant bickering in the background, telling her that this was absolutley idiotic and that she should stop this nonsense, of course, Fef wasnt listening. "I....ehhh....how exactly is he....you know, damaged?" Alhena asked in confusion, not really sure what she was talking about. "There are bruises on him silly! Thats damaging the empires property you know." "I- Oh." By now, Alhenas face was bright yellow, he did remember the makeout session they had yesterday, and he did leave one or two hickeys on the other. Seems that he had left a few of them too high. "Yes. Dont do that again, or else you'll be fined. Okay then, byee~" And with that, the phonecall ended, leaving the psion yellowfaced and trying to keep his composure.

The story of why Meenah ran away to the moon featuring Meenah as Simba, Aranea as Nala, Beforus!Karkat as some combination of Zazu and Mufasa (sassy exasperated protector who sacrifices himself for the princess), and Beforus!Gamzee as Scar for reasons of landweller/seadweller stuffs.

Mostly because I was watching the Lion King and wanted to have Karkat singing Zazu's part in I Just Can't Wait To Be King and then had to come up with a scenario for it and then suddenly I developed feels, help.
