Bubble is Deusex's dancestor. He was raised by the same benevolent, god-like invisible lusus... only it turned him into a spoiled brat instead of a vaguely helpless but amusing and trying-hard young troll.

He was isolated by his lusus and protected from even the most minor of dangers. Combined with Beforus' culture, he became fully accustomed to never experiencing problems of any type. And when they went into the medium, where his lusus didn't exist, he basically spent a little while whining and then died very quickly. He was the first to die and did not even pass the first gate.

Which doomed HIS Beforus session because he was the Heir of Hope. No heir = no good.
