Life After SVU
Rafael was finally free.
He wasn’t confined anymore by the rules and regulations that bound him at SVU. Although he missed everyone there, especially Liv and Sonny, he was free to finally enjoy life.
He could go on yacht trips because he wanted to, not for business, not to network with people from the DA’s office. He was free to go to the theater, to enjoy the New York Philharmonic perform his favorite piece by Bach. He thought quitting would add weight to the baggage he’d been carrying for the past 6 years, but when he did quit, it felt like every single burden he’d ever carried was lifted.
He had time to go see Liv and Noah, to read a book, to enjoy his dinner without having to go over cases while eating.
Rafael was finally free and seeing the world in color.
