I’ve been busy. Kind of. I’ve been doing some sort of training every day. Mostly running and cycling/spinning (still no swimming). I’ve been doing some Yoga/PT/Core stuff most mornings (let’s call it 50%).
But I don’t really have any plan. Today is the ACTUAL 1st Lake T mini-sprint. It was posted incorrectly on a site as last week. It didn’t seem right, because there is another mini that runs on the opposite Thursday from this one, and the site had both of them starting on the same day. Glad I didn’t leave work early and drive an hour with all my stuff to show up at an empty lake.
However, high today is 69 degrees. By race time it’s supposed to be back down to the low 60′s. It’s actually kind of a nice day, but i’m not sure i’m really feeing it.
I’ve pretty much just been running a 5k around my neighborhood 3 times a week. sometimes with extra warm-up/cool-down miles, sometimes just making it a little longer.
I’m all over the place with (not) logging my workouts. I’ve gotten super lazy because i have Garmin Connect uploading the data to Beginner Triathlete, Training Peaks, plus the GC app (on my phone which is pretty awesome). But i’m not logging much of anything on my own. And skipping logging most non-Garmin activity.
I have to start scheduling some time to write and log my workouts or it’s never going to get done. I’ve been thinking of things to write about every day, but just can’t seem to get time in front of the computer to do it.
Logging on the smart phone hasn’t worked out all that great. It’s okay for a quick pic and workout info, but can’t seem to do much more than that.
