I studied for hours last night and even today too! I now understand the three types of sound harmony, personal pronoun markers, and conjugating verbs! Although I understand these things conceptually, it hasn't "clicked" together yet as a bigger picture and I still can't use them off the top of my head. That would require more vocabulary, input and practice.

Turkish Basics (Again)

Unfortunately I fell off with Turkish and didn’t end up learning much of anything for the past 14 months. So, today I will be officially restarting my Turkish learning journey.

I want to bulldoze through this because honestly I’d rather be learning Japanese but provided that I literally live in Turkey now, I kind of have to stop putting it off. Besides, it’d be really embarrassing to say I lived in Turkey and not know at least basic Turkish.

All the time i’ve allowed to go by without progressing is all the more reason to get through it ASAP and start speaking. I just gotta throw myself in, full body, head first. No dwelling, only torturing myself to fluency. Yes. I like the sound of that.

So… Time to post a MASS review of basic Turkish and spend ONE day memorizing it so I can learn new content. So like, be prepared for that. <3
