I’ve learnt that one should always be gracious in defeat. The will of the people must be respected. The Democratic Labour Party has accepted the results of the 2018 General Election and sincerely thank all who voted for their candidates and supported their governance over the last ten years. The temptation to gloat, ridicule & hurl insults at these fallen soldiers will be great but be reminded that they too are Barbadians and they too must now work with the rest of the citizens to restore and rebuild Barbados. #alluhwe #begraciousindefeat #democraticlabourparty
