... I suppose I should be flattered...
Anyone has that Angand logo that has been circulating around for me? I'd like to use it as an avatar for the blog launching today (FINALLY)
So if someone has a version that is (with credit of cause) useable as an icon I'd be very happy.

tbh I think elves understand death well enough. None of them expects to live as long as the world :/
Well I disagree, Elves are born immortal with assumption that they will live forever/for few thousand years at least. They dont live with fear of death/unknown - the ticking clock that humans live with. I mean C'mon Cirdan is at least 10k old and Galadriel around 7k when they leave Middle Earth. Furthermore,. they know that even if their body dies, the Fea will go to Mandos and they will be reborn. Humans don't have that reassurance, they die and noone knows what happens to their Fea. Yes, for elves it sort of went the wrong way cause gems (which makes me think that they don't fully understand the value of life, and tbh Feanor surprised me here, because he was one of the few who had to live with a burden of a close relative passing away to Mandos - and yet he is willing to bestow the same fate on others. Bit of a dick move here). Also I belive books talk of great sacrifice of Luthien and Arwen in LOTR when they both cast away their immortality. I'd imagine that the closest that Elves got into understanding death before Alqualonde was observing vegetation processes of Yavanna's plants. They grow/They die -a.ka. mandos time/ They grow again. Yes, therw were wars,, but after Melkor was banished to void I don't think anyone was preparing to fight and die until Sauron revealed himself again.
Agent Carter tho
AGENT. CARTER. THO!!!!
It’s almost everything I ever wanted from a show. I hope it doesn’t cock itself up. That’s really pessimisstic but I just really really like it so far and I’m scared to get too attached to a show at episode three…………BUT I THINK IT’S TOO LATE….
