LOL i kept this in my inbox until now because it makes me feel nice but also because i’m going through my inbox just now from not mobile. here’s a lil bonus for u:

“dude, just ask her out already.” behemias turned in surprise to his companion, a startled expression on his face like he was almost offended to be told such a thing. “she’s been staring at you all night and the only reason you didn’t notice is because she looks away every time you look back at her.”

“well, i- i cant just do that. that would be rude of me to impose. what, do you want to swagger up to her and say ‘hey, how about we get out of here?’” their whole circle of friends looked at him like that was the obvious course of action and made mumbles of scattered agreement.

“see? everyone here says yes and i say if you dont make a move tonight, i will.” behemias was appalled at that and ran through possible scenarios of how the night could turn out.

if he could muster the courage to just talk to the girl he’d been glancing at all night, that would hopefully be enough to placate the present company. on the other hand, if he didn’t, someone else most certainly would and that would be much more unpleasant. well, there would be worse things to happen than talking to a girl who had been giving him a funny feeling all month.
