Oftentimes, we could feel like the space that we are taking up doesn't have a purpose. I noticed that throughout my life, I had issues feeling like my presence matters to those around me. I would often find myself taking up as little space as possible whether this was shrinking myself down or moving over when somebody else moved closer to me or even just getting out of the way when I noticed that there were too many people around. 🌻

At the time, I didn't recognize that me just being there was enough. I didn't have to do more or say anything. I could just BE. 🌻

Society can place these unrealistic standards on us, making us feel like we have to prove our purpose to the place that we are standing in. We feel like just being there isn't enough so we either have to act a certain way, say something, or even just look and play a specific part that we feel will deem us worthy of our presence. 🌻

NONE OF THIS IS TRUE 🌻

There is no role or cliche catch phrase you have to say in order to feel worthy enough to be here in this moment. You can just be here and accept that you just being there is enough. Don't let society tell you how or what to say in order for you to have a purpose. Don't turn it into a torturous game of if I don't say this or act like this, then all of a sudden, I don't matter anymore. Don't do that to yourself, it's only hurting you. You already have a purpose you're HERE! 🌻
