The Children of Gwi-Ma

Piggybacking off of my previous post, here is some more lore on the Demon Realm hierarchy.

Gwi-Ma treats all High Ranking Demons/Higher Demons as his consorts and concubines yet he doesn’t want heirs. 1) because he is a possessive monster, who refuses to share and 2) he doesn’t want challenges to his power. Hence why he has an Imperial Noble Consort/Lord and not an actual Queen ruling alongside.

So whenever a Higher Demon does get pregnant, or has a child, the child has to be either killed or fed to Gwi-Ma.

But, a Higher Demon can petition to have their child recognized as a “Child of Gwi-Ma”. This is an honorary title that protects the child from being eaten and from being hunted and used by other Higher Demons.

The title doesn’t guarantee power or status however. To avoid power struggles, a Child of Gwi-Ma is assigned to do Mid Rank Demon administrative work. Typically that which can be done away from the main palace.

Only four demons gave ever been granted this title:

1. Jeong-Su the Imugi (lesser dragon)

2. Hwa-Yong the Gumigo (nine-tailed fox)

3. Gwan-Sik the Doekebbi (Korean goblin)

4. Ji-Ahn the Jeoseung Saja (psychopomp)

Being a sore winner is a thing but having a celly after you win is not what it is Alyssa is off her rocker if she thinks saying yaaay after winning, especially veto when she’s otb, is inappropriate. Has she never watched a sport? all of them have their little I did a good thing moment. Until Brit starts saying she’s the best competitor in the whole house and bragging constantly about her win she’s not a sore winner. Idc if people think she’s too much and annoying she’s allowed to be happy for herself. I can’t stand Alyssa

Britini also just says yay after everything, she does it when production gives her little gluten free snacks, she did it when DX opened the toilet for her, she does it when someone wants to spend time with her, like it’s not something that’s exclusive to her winning, it’s just what she does when she’s excited

and i can’t stand that alyssa girl either, we shouldn’t have to deal with her for much longer tho
