Allie smiled at the woman who looked exactly like Millie and nodded. She waited until they were closer to reply, wheeling her suitcase of belongings behind her.
The last time Millie had seen her, she had just had her leg torn up by a dog, and had to be carried away. After a long recovery at home with Puck, Allie was at least finally back on her feet.
“Yes, my husband has taken very good care of me.” She turned over her shoulder to find him, but he had disappeared, and she could sense him some ways back, near enough to call out if he needed her, she assured herself.
