It is okay to be small.
Smallness is a posture of the heart that we take on each day. Rather than stressing out to stake our claim or secure our place of greatness, we know who is already there. Our position of humility in the shadow of His great power is one of relief and freedom because He is near, He fulfils, He hears, He saves. When we behold God’s glory in creation, we better understand His greatness in and through our smallness

Our loving Father doesn’t simply put us in our place to draw out the worship He deserves. He places Himself on the throne of our hearts so that we might see Him for who He is and declare as His creation: Let all things their Creator bless And worship Him in humbleness, O praise Him! Alleluia

We must love what must be done. I keep doing the same things everyday, but it still remains with no change. It’s in being aware of how greatly loved and amazingly saved we are, that we may be caught up in the joy of the daily mundane routine. In placing of one foot in front of the other, you are continuing in the race that has been marked out for you. Embrace one day at a time, enduring work of faith.
Family isn’t primarily for our enjoyment or personal legacy, family is the place from which the gospel is modelled and proclaimed. God uses imperfect families to reflect transformation through the saving, sanctifying work of the cross…one Christ dependent relationship at a time.
