There are ghosts but sometimes you don’t NOTICE the ghosts and if you rewatch or look closely you will see some spooky spooky guys. Esme Cullen is there and also a lesbian is there I think. There’s a haunted house but the REAL horror is family drama/family trauma.

Favorite: I’m torn between So Much Better, which is a killer act 1 finale and absolutely makes me cry/gives me chills when done right, or the Legally Blonde Remix, which I get stuck in my head CONSTANTLY

Least Favorite: I was going to say Positive and it still might be Positive but the more I think about that...I really do love that song y’all. I’m struggling here, I guess if really really pressed I’d say Blood in the Water but even that is REALLY good it just does feel like the show kind of slows down for it, but ugh even then. It’s just a very good show.

Heathers

Favorite: MEANT! TO! BE! YOURS! I also just love the way Yo Girl leads into Meant to Be Yours like that pairing UGH. It’s so creepy and cool and musically WILD I love it so much.

Least Favorite: this is fascinating because there’s now like, multiple versions of this show with different songs? Uhhhh I don’t really care about Kindergarten Boyfriend I’m sorry :/ I love Martha but that song always feels like, a minute too long. Also if we’re going with the newer version, FUCK I Say No

4. A character you’d fantasize about playing

oh god so many. I’d honestly play Juliet again in a heartbeat. I’d kill to play both Viola and Olivia. I really want to play Desdemona and Cordelia. Literally after hollow crown and the NT live screening i want to fucking play richard ii.

9. The historical production you’d most want to see live

oooh. this is hard because there’s so many. I mean obviously seeing the like debut productions of any of these would have been fucking incredible. I’d especially like to have seen the very first performance of romeo and juliet. like. fuck. Also i think seeing the first performance of the tempest would have been fascinating. speaking of, this isnt really historical as it was in the last decade, but that production of the tempest that posner and teller did looked neat purely from an aesthetic perspective.

Top 5 terrible films/trailers watched!

oh my gosh…okay I’m going with trailers because I’ve recently been fascinated but what trailers do and don’t work for me so it’s relevant, especially since i sat through so many DREADFUL trailers with you and sebastien, mostly at Widows

1. KIN so the title of this film jumpscared Sebastien @sebastbu and I real bad AND is what kickstarted our new favorite game of “cliche counter” which we now do when watching pretty much any dreadful film trailer. This one started it all. It’s just the most vague and generic trailer I’ve ever seen it’s sort of a masterpiece in its own way.

2. Akira this trailer continued the cliche counter game with Sebastien. We saw this ad both times we saw Widows and god is it also just unbelievably bland and generic and vague. It’s like you tossed every single inspiring pithy line from every single bland Empowered Sci-fi film into a blender and then watered it down. I’m speechless at how boring this trailer is.

3. Dumbo, Lion King, and Aladdin im lumping all together because i hate them all for more or less the same two reasons: these are CGI action movies, not live action movies, the animals in them have zero expression or design or emotion or personality, and WHO CARES. They’re recreations of beloved films but infinitely more commercialized and bland and stupid. There’s absolutely zero reason to care about these films and the trailers REALLY reflect that.

4. The Grinch (2018) kiss my assssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. they couldn’t have missed the point more if they fucking TRIIIIIIED.

5. Hellboy okay this one is sort of a sleeper hit but i saw this trailer before Aquaman and it’s the reason i’ve been thinking so much about which trailers do or don’t interest me and why. Like this is a perfectly Fine trailer and honestly i think the movie will probably be fun, but this trailer bored me so so much and i haven’t stopped thinking about it since.
