and how youve been,

what youre doing.

I havent laid eyes on you since forever

but i still remember how our words touched

and how you made me feel. 

I ask myself if youre watching me

or if you wonder about me too,

because i miss our old conversations,

laidback, all entirely real. 

We would sit for hours on end

doing and talking about nothing 

-- from what i remember anyways.

But its the truthfulness of your words

and the ease and being calm

like i was learning to breathe again 

normally this time,

with a clear head and heart,

that made me remember 

our uniqueness.
