Reflections of a day

A blessed soul sent me this on WhatsApp, Written by the Fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev Ji – The king of Martyrs, a stout disciple, an outstanding child, sibling, father and a superb Guru!  It’s a prayer every devotee, every seeker should meditate on in their journey! ‘’Man Meh Chitwoh Chitwani Uddam Karo Uth Neet Har Keertan Ka Aaharo Har Deh Nanak Ke Meet’’

Life comes plenty in terms of opportunity, responsibility, acceptance and reward. I breathe in air with gratitude… with it, I become who I am. Words carved out of perseverance and fortitude, a longing desire to provide for the love of many…burns as fuel within the ecosystem of my body. 

The joy of experimentation, the curiosity to know more... takes you to higher places, places yet unknown to you. You become a part and parcel of your roots.

One would think they need to recover from their incompleteness by working through several blockades, overcoming vast gaps of the void with efforts made towards walking on false bridges to yonder. All of this and more becomes much simpler when you put on your face the one thing that changes how you look at things… a smile… free and unblemished of worldly amputations.

Life is in fact, so much simpler! With our limited knowledge, we complicate it by complaining and whining. Love is the Solution. Gratitude is the Technique. Faith is its Currency.

The winds blow over me, it brushes against my face, tickling my senses… reminding me that I am alive.

Mother Nature through her ever so large humility and love… gives you more than you could ever ask for. The green output of life sustains us in the most strangest of ways. The forbearance is remarkable and unmatched.

Even in the shade of the blackest night, the expedition never halts. The efflorescent shine of the moon, the child of light and life pours hope upon us.

It builds through time, it builds through work, it all adds up to the one feeling capable of being felt by all. It needs no name; it needs no introduction and certainly no conclusion.

Today our consumption has outgrown what nature can provide for. It is abundant, not unlimited. It becomes so only when we want it to be. The earth manifests and gives voice to men gifted and those not so gifted. Ahead lies a lonely life devoid of all of this... if we do not measure our steps and contain our worldly desires.

Fortunately so, we are not yet forsaken in our mundane approach towards life. Nature gifts us more surprisingly. Friends seek you out in different ways and forms. 

Sometimes… so large is this gift that you cannot compare it in terms of size. 

Together, everything becomes a part of one large portrait. You, in the truest of meaning become one and complete. 

Ahead lies more, ahead lies an opportunity to understand more, do more and more than anything repay more.

In this constant journey...  Where your own footsteps won’t guide you, the ones which are young and jubilant will. The universe is vast, it has enough for all, why worry, why fight?
