Beial Kerberos (alias "Bei", for friends) is the owner and manager of the Wolf Pack Tavern in Hollowridge. The tavern is known for being the one and only chimaera-friendly space in the whole area, which makes all the weirdos, outcasts, undesirables, and otherwise societal rejects gravitate towards it. Still, even though it's got a lot of potentially rowdy people constantly in it's premises, he runs the place with an iron fist.
Bei is not the only one with animal features in the town, as his small stature and half-dog appearance are a result of extensive genetic modification by a piece of rampant machinery who's purpose it is to make more durable and adapted humans for the new environment. These are the aforementioned Chimaeras, humans who have been tampered with this way.
He is, however, one of the most powerful people in the area by far, with short range omniscient sight and the capacity for opening portals in close space for a short period of time, he's pretty damn untouchable.
His tail is cleaver-shaped because before he was fully accustomed to his body and powers he closed a portal behind himself while the tip of his tail was still not through, completely slicing it off.
Bei is naturally a cold person, and first and foremost he's a businessman. His bar is his fortress. If you show him respect he will show respect back. If you try to waltz in like you own the place and act like everyone inside is below you, someone's going to have to scrape your remains off of the pavement on the back before you have the chance to sling an insult.
