I've been to an open lecture not so long ago, and there's an interesting observation I made: to make an auditorium full of chemists laugh, just crack a joke about death :)

on reddit, it is said that every chemist has a criminal case attached by default because of their unique aptitude for creating explosives. well, as a chemist myself… I now understand why is it so complicated to get a no priors certificate 🙂

After the fun part comes the writing. Today, I made 50ml of hydrogen, did a complexometric titration of some unknown zinc-molecule and the titration of acetic acid. Successful day in the lab. ♡

Chemist drama

Being a chemist is not easy, always I repeat this to myself to make me feel a little bit better.

First I have to deal with all the organic chemistry shit because that will feed me in a near future and it's so hard (my education system it's not quite efficient)

Second I'm a weirdo (yes like Radiohead's song) rarely I make friends and the few I have at my school sometimes are a painful in the ass, but they make me laugh and feel a little bit more happy

Third and maybe the main reason to be upset, my family is a whole mess my younger bro thinks that I'm an asshole, a douche, a fucking retarded, my mom doesn't care a lot about my career even she suggested that I had to change it, I got so pissed off but I'm here on my room listening music and writting this words that maybe can make me feel better
