I dont really go here but the idea that Quakers made the hegseth list of Christians and mormons didn't is very funny because like
There are a number of non-theist Friends and on top of that not all Quakers (around like 20%) consider themselves Christians at all and some will supply a specific definition of Christianity when asked and probably wouldn't notice being kicked off this list at all
Now if Shakers had made the cut by oversight I would really be cracking up
Little old Italian lady: Do you have zucchini?
Me: Yes, right here.
Lady: Is how much?
Me: $2.99 a pound.
Lady: It's usually $1.49.
Me: Yes, in the summer.
Lady, pauses, then grabs two: I put it in a soup.
Me: Oh nice, what kind are you making?
Lady: You will not fantasize about my soup.
And then she walked away. "You will not fantasize about my soup" will be in my head forever. I love you, little old Italian lady.

Medieval Skull Clasp, made in 1500, it was designed for the road: it concerns a portable Book of Hours (or prayer book) that was carried around by a pilgrim on his religious pilgrimage. The clasp holds the book closed, which is decorated with a skull carved out of bone – Source
One of my medical records says I walked well without a limp which is so cool except
When I saw that doctor I was only using one leg and hopping with a walker using my momentum to push the walker and doing a continuous hop so like
Yea there was no limp HOWEVER
More late night epiphanies by yours truly
what up yall I am a poll worker again this job allows you to do things like hang out with 10-13 of the most eccentric senior citizens in your neighborhood and be the subject of confusion when youre the only person in the group to order an ice coffee

whats so exciting is that im not going blind which is good news but the wildest news at all is that i was exceptionally nonchalant about that possibility while quivering in terror at the prospect of knee surgery and i dont know why that's how that shook out
you know. i must say that this is true for me as well
