gonna be honest, i'll struggle to follow ppl who post really critically about mythal and don't tag it somehow

not gonna tell anyone how to feel, but there are personal reasons that make it really upsetting to me, so that's just where i'm at

i think sebastian thinks he’s a bigger deal than he is. he’s acting like he got recognized all the time prior to now. like he’s not chris evans or some a list actor everyone knows so him telling people no pictures makes him seem arrogant.

I honestly don’t think that’s what’s going on at all.

I think he’s being wary. I also think he’s still quite butthurt about his fan backlash.

This is not about wanting more privacy because he thinks he’s a big shot now. This behaviour fits more realistically with a man in avoidance-mode over being called out or fearing he might attract a scandal with an unsuspecting fan.

I guarantee it’s what his team have advised him to do

First Session in the bag!

I’m still learning as a DM but having my co-dm there helped out. We assisted each other. We’ve decided our names are “The Arbiter” and “The Magic Man” respectively so the players don’t get both of us when they say “hey dm” lol. I’ll let you guess which one I am. It was a lot of fun.

Now spoiler warnings: We used a mix of creeping fog and mysterious visitors to start, having them come upon the vistani camp in the woods. It was fun. They got through the first four floors of death house and found the basement entrance before we wrapped up the session there for a nice cliffhanger. It was a bit messy but first session are like that, we still had lots of fun. Everyone is settling into their characters. They did:

attack a wolf they were not supposed to and get nearly bodied by a dire wolf

almost die to a broom if animated attack. Guys you’re level one but come on.

shoot the skeletons of the children for no fkin reason

rip a shield off the wall in the entryway the moment they set food in the house

It was a blast though. Lots of fun. My co dm and I did a shining bit and had the fake-kids outside speak in sync :3

Well, I will be honest. Feels good to have that said to me, it really does, but I am not stupid and won't be surprised if history repeats itself.

Knowing changes will probably not be made and instead same choices will be repeated, you think would make one say "Fuck it".

But I'm still going to be supportive and understanding and try helping her move in what I think is the right direction, because it's just the right thing to do.

But make no mistake, I will nor be surprised if thinks go sideways again.
