Being introvert doesn't mean that we hate or are afraid of a social life. It can be described as if we keep the door to our hut(heart) shut unlike extroverts who keep their doors remain open and are always welcoming, hence more likely to approach initially. But if you knock on our door and genuinely want to discover us from within you are always welcome. Once you enter through that door with open arms to embrace us you'll find the actual warmth the hut has to offer which cannot be judged from outside. Also you will have a place inside(friendship) booked permanently which you can claim anytime
I miss something I'm not even sure I can have...
Me: Man there's so many people I see on my dash that I would love to take screenshots with or hang out.
Also me: But... that involves being social...
A cool sketch filter I found.
Kinda has this 80s Take on Me feel.
How people see introverts: I have no friends and when people invite me to a party I shyly yet rudely decline because I hate humanity.
How introverts actually are: I have some close friends and I love them very very deeply. We like being goofy around each other but we also understand that a moment of silent company is also fantastic. I do go to most of the parties I'm invited to, even when I don't really want to go, because I do like company and I want to show my friends that I care about them. I may spend most of the party trying to fuse to the wall in the corner, but I'll eventually engage in a conversation with someone. I don't hate people, I just really like being alone sometimes.
