Kids say the darnedest things...
So I'm getting ready... And my five year old puts my bobby pins in the shape of an L, looks at me proudly and says "Look!" So I start singing "L is for the way you look tonight...O is---" "O IS FOR ORANGE!!! And nothing rhymes with it! Madame taught us that!" Insert smug child face here. Good job, my child, good job 😂
The responsibility of stickers
I legit almost died laughing. My five year old got these pretty awesome animal stickers after her first week of kindergarten, as a little "aww mommy and daddy are so proud you didn't freak the hell out at school" She put the hedgehog one on her water bottle (we have a hedgehog so, it made sense, also why I bought that pack) Anyway, fast forward to today. She's signing a card for her little friend's birthday tomorrow. I asked if she wanted to put any stickers on the envelope, and proceed to pick up THAT sheet (with only the hedgie still missing) and omg I've never seen her move so fast! "NO! No! NOOOOOO! Mommy! Don't! I used the sticker like Hot Chocolate first, but I'm just not ready to use the other ones. They're special occasional stickers!" Special. Occasional. Just. Not. Ready. Sorry Weston, your birthday is not special enough for her special occasional stickers 😂
