So I've been a very quiet Reylo since TLJ. I've lurked on Tumblr and Twitter and read tons of fanfic. While I'm devastated by Ben's death I think making Rey a Palpatine upset me more.
One of the things I absolutely loved from TLJ was the message that anyone could be a hero, you didn't need to come from some dynasty of power.
Kylo/Ben was in awe, not of her lineage, but the power she wielded that made her his equal. Now they threw that out and made Rey this?
