An addict

focussed on things that shouldn't matter

Distracted 

which shoes, which dress?

And why don't they like me?

And where do I fail?

An addict

of finding everything that's wrong with yourself

Defeated

gave up before the war even started 

so you're always looking down

but no more, no more.

No more.

This has to stop.

Day 1 // Time

And Time moves so fast,

treacherous and thieving,

And Time parades past

to show everything you could have been.

But you stand still, bleeding Time

losing minutes and months

and hours and moments, 

skipping all those exciting things

that they say define youth,

you stand still and watch the colours

because you've slowed it down now

and this dream will be worth it.
