So, my mom and I met this girl in Target today. We were on our way out and Samra (pronounced Suh-meer-uh) walked past me with her mom and complimented me on my outfit. Which, of course, made me really happy 1. Because I put slight effort into my outfit today, 2. I just love when girls compliment other girls! It’s just so empowering. So, my mom and I kept walking after I told her thank you, but then my mom stopped and said, “I think you should know her!” And I couldn’t even lie, I did too. So I ran back to the aisle she’d turned on and told her that I thought she was really sweet, and if it was ok, I wanted to get her number so we could stay in contact. My mom ended up following me as well and we ended up finding out so much about Samra and her lovely mommy in the span of 10 minutes. This precious 12 year old just made my whole day and her mommy was so glad that we came and wanted to get to know each other more. Apparently, kids think she’s weird for being such a sweetheart and she has heart problems, so they call her “sick girl"😡I told her that there’s nothing wrong with being weird and she doesn’t need to change for others. We had SO much in common, it was kinda crazy, but I am so glad that I’ll be able to get to know her more. #NewFriends #ThisIsWhyILoveTarget #GirlsUpliftingGirls #GirlsComplimentingGirls #ShesChristianToo #AndACreative #DontBeShy #SayHi #BeingWeirdIsAwesome #DontChangeForOthers #BeYourself #AtAllTimes (at Target Fayetteville)
