Leopards Eating Faces
One of my favorite books as a teenager (and for God's sake, if you've read it, don't judge me) was Maia by Richard Adams.
It was set about seven years post-coup in the Beklan Empire and the party that instituted the coup was called the Leopards. They wore leopard emblems and everything.
