first i'm gonna mention some canon things i really like: 1) her writing poetry 2) her loving drama/theatre 3) her stepmomster Ramoanah 4) her being terrible at drawing lol
Now, (G1) Draculaura headcanons:
was homeschooled after moving to the boo-world (until she joined MH with Clawdeen)
briefly attended Belfry Prep/Smogsnorts Vampyr Academy
I like the idea she met Gory there (***more later). Also that she decided to "drop out" because she didn't want to follow traditional vampire expectations (drinking blood) + felt outcasted as she couldn't unlock her vampire powers
all these 1600 she travelled A LOT with her dad (*canon?), and most of her wardrobe collection is stuff she wore on these travels
she has a really big winter clothes collection
*this is based on her profile entry for "least favourite subject: Geography. After 1,599 years I’ve been everywhere… twice." and the fact we learn in Frights Camera Action/Draculaura and the New Stepmomster that vampires take long stays in Antartica during the night months; so i like to think she had many vacations there in her 1600 yrs, therefore many cold weather outfits ;)
she knows a few languages other than english
i would love her to speak (or at least read/understand) romanian / hungarian / latin... again cuz she travelled a lot and lived in different countries(& eras)
wrote many zines in her free time during all these years (also why she loves being on the gory gazette)
used to switch "princess and the pauper" style with Elissabat a lot during their vampire court days
when she met 11(in wolf years)y/o Clawdeen she was reminded of Euna (who she knew at that age back in 423 AD)
the following headcanons aren't exactly about Drac but more of... Draculaura-adiacent (?) lol
Count Fabulous is a little kid stuck in bat form, and sees Draculaura as an older sister (+in canon he sounds like a little kid when speaking to Jane Boolittle)
she has an uncle named Vlad, father of her cousin Thad
(visual headcanon) Dracula's color palette is grayscale/BnW
Like cuz i think it's funny if he has a very gloomy/sad white skin w gray-black hair and black coat color combo; to contrast Draculaura's lively pink palette. I think it adds to the pun of Draculaura being a non-traditional vampire & would be a cute design seen in a character line-up w her dad
(***) Gory was the one to nickname her "Ula D"
also Gory being some centuries (or maybe even a millenium+) younger.. like what if Drac is 1600 but Gory is just... 217 or something ?? 👀 And Brad DeVein & Thad being younger too like... ages around 900 to 117 yk like the lower the funnier to me-- i want a very cursed gap between Ula D, Elissabat, Valentine VS other vampires... also bc i headcanon that:
vampires can age, but not linearly and can't control it
ok... it could also just be using "magic" to age as a chioce (or graduation ritual?) but i have an overly-complicated headcanon about it sooooo.... xP
I headcanon it has to do with 1)unlocking their vampire powers 2) having an "emotional maturity" level that triggers the change.
Young vampyres are (usually) put in specific vampire-school, that they graduate once this change happens (it takes centuries) and they can move on to do more in vampire society/court.
(Rambling more about this even if i understand it's a bit contrived LoL) Reasons why (w this logic) vampires in the MH cast didn't age for over 1000 years
Draculaura (1600-16): didn't unlock her powers + feels a disconnect to her vampirism (her refusal to drink blood coming from the trauma of her transformation... stops her from feeling trurly comfortable w her vampirisim which acts as the "emotional block" to unlocking vampire-aging)
Elissabat (1601-16): her refusal to become vampire queen (again emotinal distance from her vampirisim/& responsabilities)
Valentine (1602-16): repressed homosexual LOL =literally emotinally repressed
*Count Fabulous (1006-?): stuck in bat form =emotinally stuck (i head canon because he became a vampire as a like, 6y/o kid & unlocked his powers super early n liked being a bat so much he messed up and couldn't retransform anymore lol)
aging for vampires is really odd and is probably kinda like.. a pokemon evolution? Like it might happen but you don't really know when...... rn im kinda liking the theory but if i ever get frustraded (or it starts to make my head hurt more that the idea of draculaura outliving clawd & everyone / breaking up due to them aging and her staying forever 16 T.T) im very much scrapping it LoLoLoL

I wanted to do a few more, like gory’s BF but i ran out of room. It’s really just a sketch so i can finish it later. These characters actually dont have names so i made them up lol Im really proud of the names.
Ivy Bloodstream get it like an IV lol, Amar Drainer; amar means immortal and drainer as in blood drainer, Deathany Russo she looks like a Beth but make it monster high and Russo means red, Akasha Haunton is named after Aaliyah in queen of the damned, her last name is Haughton so i made it more monster high
Someone told me Bloodgood will return to MH in this reboot, she better, if not, characters like Gory and Bram won’t exist, it was Bloodgood’s vision alone that got Belfry Prep to send transfer students to Monster High, and if no character is being left out that has to include Gory who was close to getting a doll
