The Q/A post where G1 Draculaura aswers a kid's message about being homeschooled and a lil afraid of going to public school and says "Your story sounds just like mine when I first arrived at Monster High!" IS LITERALLY SO IMPORTANT TO ME!!!
I LOVE to believe Dracula had Draculaura be extremely sheltered after they fled to the Boo World. That he was scared Lord Stoker might be on their necks after the vampire heart & Elissabat's disappearence.
Especially after Hexiciah went missing. DRACULA MUST HAVE FREAKED OUT. Like was it Stoker's doing??? Did he know??? 👀👀
AND THEN HEX'S NEW DAUGHTER ROBECCA WAS DESTROYED. OMGHOULLLLLLLL Dracula was probably terrified for Draculaura's safety.
Also he might have thought having Draculaura attend an omni-monster school like new founded MH would have called too much attention from the Vampire Council too, which after leaving was probably the last thing he wanted.
I wonder if they tried to have her attend some other vampire academy inbetween? Like Draculaura does have a resentment for Smogsnort Vampyre Academy in the webisodes, maybe she briefly attended it?
Maybe she could have even tried Belfry Prep and met Gory there? I think it would be funny/cool if she tried to break from being sheletered in some random decades like the 60s and 80s and really just shortly stayed at these schools?
Btw: i would like to think vampire school works so that teenage vampires stay there until they've farmed enough vampire powers & maturity to unlock the ability to age up (cuz as i said before, I headcanon they can achieve aging with their powers but it's *not* linear and they can't control it). So like Gory and Brad might have been in school for a few decades/centuries idk n maybe it could be funny if they met Drac in the 80s (IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS TO ME IF THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME PPL EVER BOTHERD CALLING HER "ULA D" LIKE SHE SAYS THEY DO)
Tho i like to believe Drac probably ended up giving up and dropping out of these schools cuz she just couldn't bring herself to do many vampire activities, ESPECIALLY DRINKING BLOOD, n choose to stay home instead.
I think I like the idea she joined MH the first year same as Clawdeen and Cleo and Ghoulia n everyone else. And that she didn't really have a "group" before them.
Idk Draculaura's life is such a fun/interesting ground for theories and headcanons and speculation imo like. really what did she do all these 1600 yrs????????????????
Like she grew up in roman dacia. was childhood friends with Euna. got count fabulous when? around medival times(? they have about a 600 years age gap). then she was just living in the vampire court & it sounds like her only friend was Elissabat. she studied in a vampire school until what? the 1800s im guessing from the dress? Where she met Valentine. then they fled bc normies saw her eating that tomato (and bc of Dracula having beef with Stoker probably). In all of this at some point she got her cousin Thad (i wonder what their relationship is like). N then idk. she met Robecca and the Steins in the Boo world. then ??????????????????. N then she met 13yrs old clawdeen on that train ride or something. n then joined MH.
I wonder if Clawdeen reminded her of Euna. I wonder if Draculaura was often lonely aside from count fabulous. If she felt special when valentine chose to court her, since other vampires at court probably snobbed her for her fear of blood n made her feel lesser. Theres so much i wonder about Ula D like i wonder who tf was calling her Ula D like YK WHAT IM SAYING LIKE----
