What We Do In The Shadows
2 types of vampires:
Regular immortal vampire, is turned by another vampire by drinking vampire blood and having your blood drunk, drinks human blood to survive, can’t eat human food. Transforms into a bat, can fly even when not a bat, can hypnotize people, needs an invitation into any home. No silver, steak to heart will kill, can’t walk in daylight. No reflection, no garlic, no holy water or anything god related(or else catch up in flames). Certain vampires have special powers.
Energy Vampire: Origin unknown? Lives up to 100 years then turns into a baby? Feeds off humans energy by annoying, boring, or pity. Can levitate/fly if has a lot of power. Daywalkers!
Twilight
Turned into a vampire by getting bitten, releasing vampire venom. Doesn’t have fangs, doesn’t burst to flames in the sun, instead they *sparkle* Can fly, certain vampires have special powers like reading minds, predicting future etc. Red eyes means they have been drinking human blood, honey hazel eyes they have been drinking animal blood. Never sleeps, to kill them you need to cut off head and burn them. Body is basically stone, no blood. Can’t hypnotize people, doesn’t need an invitation.
The Vampire Diaries
Turned into a vampire by dying with vampire blood in system and drinking human blood when woken up. Can’t walk in sun or will burst to flames, unless they have enchanted jewelry made by witches to be in sunlight. Drinks human blood but can also drink animal blood, human blood makes you stronger. Can hypnotize or “compel” people unless they are on vervain. Can kill with vervain, stake to the heart, rip out heart, cut off head. Can’t fly but jump really high. Can eat and drink human food. Needs an invitation into people’s homes.
