The Prologue

Sophronia Grimshaw moved to Forks because they, The Sluagh, told her to. They had asked, demanded, begged, and bargained with her for hours as she sat on the floor of her small apartment reading the news on her laptop.

'Man vanishes Friday night.' 'Several campers attacked over spring break.' 'Mutilated body found in woods.'

With every new headline that lit up her screen, The Sluagh grew louder, more insistent. Refusing to let her have a moment of silence until she caved, and then, twenty-one days later, she bought a one-way plane ticket and signed a lease.

For the entirety of her first month in Forks, The Sluagh gifted her with silence. And then once she grew too comfortable, she was reminded of their existence with whispers.

'Stay out of the woods.'

'It ain't animals, it's man.'

'Demons, monsters.'

'Dead men walking'

'Feeding on the living'

And then of course there were new ones, the new ghosts, the ones that weren't sure of what had happened to them, the ones that just muttered. High-pitched and whiny. Eternally confused.

And when Sopronia received her first animal attack victim at her office, the Sluagh grew excited.

His second chance

Part 1

Helena Aphrodite Swan is the younger twin sister of Isabella Marie Swan. Isabella or Bella, as she prefers to be called, hated her sister because she believes that she attention seeks and is out for everything that she wants. But that is Helena she is sweet, and she is kind and always trying to help everyone even if she is hurt in the process.

The trip to Italy

Helena was up in her room drawing whatever comes to her mind when she heard the front door open and close but thought nothing of it thinking that it was just Isabella coming back so she stayed in her room to avoid her anger. But shortly after the front door went again and then arguing started. Helena stayed in her room trying to stay out of whatever was going on.

A few moments later Helen's door swings open with an unknown figure but before she could ask what was going on she could feel a sharp pain on the back of the head and the world went black.

A few hours later Helena started to wake up with a pounding head ache. Slowly opening her eyes just to shut them again when light hits her eyes and the fast moving of the street by her window in a car a yellow porsche...... wait when did this happen? As soon as the realisation started to hit the panic started to set in and grip at her very being but straingly enough a pull in her chest calmed her slightly but not enough.

"Wh...what's g...going on?" Helena asked panicked only for Isabella to turn around and slap her.

"Shut up you stupid freak! This is all your fault! Why can't you just die so I can be happy!!" Isabella screamed at her in anger with no regret in her voice.

Helena tright to stiffle a cry that left her mouth as tears came to her eyes, her head hurting more than it did a moment ago and Helena knew this was not good she knew what happened when this happens. Trying to take deep breaths to calm her hurting head and nerves, but also not paying attention to wait was being said between the two that kidnapped her by force and took her to another country far away from the only person Helena felt loved her, her dad. With that thought Helena started to panic even more wondering if she will ever see him again or if that morning was the last time she saw him. Was she going to die? What will charlie be like if he lost his precious Helena? The only one that wanted something to do with him, the one who took care of him even when she did not need to. Will he look for her if she did not return?

Coming to a sudden stop Isabella jumps out the car and started to run. While Alice parked the car.

"Come on get out the car we don't have all day!" Alice snapped as she dragged Helena out of the car ignoring her cries of pain and continued to drag her through the streets to where they needed to be. While a snap was heard from the young girls wrist as they got through the door and she let out a loud pained cry alerting the red eyed vampires in the room with a the cry and smell of blood coming from the back of the young girls head.

"RELEASE HER NOW!" The tall vampire bellowed in anger confusing everyone but the shorter vampire next to him as he felt a connection to the poor girl.

Alice quickly let going as if realising her mistake quickly and Edward tensed not just because of the out burst of the large vampire in front of him but the extra mind voice he could hear. The mind voice of Isabella swan. He didn't know how that was possible until he looked at the other girl hissing as he could not read her mind.

"Oh shut up being a wimp." Isabella snapped at her sister about to storm to her if it was not for Edward, the growling coming from the two red eyed vampires and the sudden voice of Jane telling them to follow.

As they went to follow the two male vampires slowly approached the young girl carefully as to not startle her but she flinchs as they got close.

"It's ok I'm not going to hurt you." He said in a soft calm voice. "I'm Felix and this is Demetri. Let us help you and we can get that looked at yeah." Felix said as softly as he could.

A few moments later Helena slowly reach out her uninjured hand to the hand of Felix as he gently helped her up and the three went to follow the others to the throne room. Both vampires worried for the young woman with them as they feel a sister bond with her.

"Helena. My name is Helena and thank you for helping me." Helena whispered to them so quietly that they would have missed it if it wasn't for their enhanced hearing.

Chief Swan Eldest Daughter Ch.1

I just finished getting dressed for school I went downstairs to make breakfast for my dad and I dad was still getting ready for work while I got to cooking breakfast, after a while I heard Dad's bedroom door open I said good morning he said it back but his eyes were glued onto his phone

A dreadful feeling plumbed my stomach. I quickly shut off the stove and took a seat next to my dad yet he didn't even move as his eyes stayed focused on his phone and it only worried me even further. but he seemed to be in a trance right now. And his eyes were never that glued to his phone. "Daddy?" I called out as I gently placed a hand on his shoulder.

Daddy slowly looked away from his phone and down at me who looked beyond worried for him. He instantly dropped his phone onto the table not even caring if it somehow broke and pulled her into a hug, feeling bad for worrying like that. "I'm sorry, Hun. I'm fine. Just got some horrible news." He said as I hugged him back letting out a small sigh. "What kind of horrible news? Did someone we know die?" I question still holding onto him who shook his head at my question.

"I kinda wish that was it, honestly." He mumbled causing me to pull away from the hug, looking up at my father with an arched eyebrow. What was so bad that he wished that one of their friends had died? I was trying to see if he was playing a joke when I saw how he was once again looking on the verge of a mental breakdown.

I could my mouth feel agape as I stared at her father with wide eyes before she started shaking her head. "Oh Fuck no! I say no. This evil witch bitch isn't coming here!" I rambled making Charlie chuckle lowly, pulling me into another hug hoping to calm me down at least a little bit. It thankfully did work but it however didn't stop her ramblings.

Renee and her husband are going to travel and Isabella will need a place to stay. Sadly since I'm her father, she'll have to stay with us." Charlie said with a defeated sigh I groaned lowly as she somehow squished herself closer to her father.

She was having such a great morning and now it was ruined.

"She tried to kill me by pushing me into the deep of the pool when I didn't know how to swim," I whined out and Daddy's grip tightened around me.

He still had nightmares about that day and sometimes in those nightmares, he didn't get to his little girl in time.

*Third Person*

Charlie would wake up, pitching up from his sleep with tears in his eyes as he breathed heavily. And without missing a beat, he'd rush into Cyrus's room as quietly as he could to make sure that his little girl was there. That she was safe and breathing. Sometimes he'd even sleep in her room when he had those nightmares where he couldn't save her. He'd sleep either on the floor or in the bed with her, wanting to hear her little snores that helped him to relax.

He stayed to make sure that she was still there with him. Though he had those horrible nightmares that sometimes kept him up the entire night, he never told Cyrus about them. Why? He didn't want her to worry. Charlie knew how much she worried for him and he didn't want to worry her even more.

* Cyrus Pov *

"When will it be here, Daddy?" I asked my father.

"She'll be coming next week sadly." Daddy replies to my question.

"Alright this is gonna be hell but anyway Daddy am gonna go to the Cullens since it's my turn to drive Horizon and I to school and your breakfast is on the counter I quickly ran into the kitchen grabbed my food container and rushed up to the attic and grab my backpack and keys I walked back downstairs and kissed my father on the cheek and headed outside I got into my car and drove to my mate's house I waited for her come out when she did Alice and Jasper follow after they got into the car in I pulled out waving bye to Carlisle and Esme I gave them the special rings that gave them back their human qualities it still shows them as the gold eyes for three other siblings and the humans do not question them asked how they got human qualities. I pulled into the school parking lot handed them their breakfast and gave Horizon hers we ate and talked I gave Jasper a bottle of my blood for his thirst it quenches thirst for human blood it will just appear to humans as water and Edward, Rosalie and Emmett will smell animal blood the other soon pulled into the lot and got out we did also they do every morning Horizon and I walked into the school and stood by my locker talking until the bell ring for class

I honestly love this story but I would love it more if it was a reaction fic with Annalyssa, Bella, Charlie, Renee, Phil, Cullens, Wolf Pack, Elders and maybe her friends before she found out she was pregnant but after the rape. 

If you haven’t read this story, I highly recommend it. The sexual assault is only mentioned. Bella and Edward bashing. Charlie and Annalyssa have the cutest relationship ever.

The Turning

There was almost silence apart from the faint heart beat of Helena who was still being held in his arms with a bit on her neck and blood on Marcus' lips.

"Why is she not screaming?" Caius asked his voice even but feeling a little worried for the young girl although he will not admit it.

"I do not know. But I must take her to my room. I shall wait for her to wake up." Marcus' voice was void of emotion as he stood with his mate in his arms and left the throne room.

The other two brothers looked on in concern as they watched their brother leave with his mate. They prayed she would wake and soon for they don't think they can watch Marcus eat himself alive if she does now make it.

~In Marcus' room~

Marcus gently places Helena on his bed before he quickly shut the door so no one will come in. (Or so he thought)

He sat in the chair next to his bed holding Helena's hand, looking at her face as appears peaceful as if turning into a vampire did not hurt.

"per favore, torna da me amore mio. Farò del mio meglio per proteggerti. tu sei la mia seconda possibilità. non posso perderti. se non ce la fai ti seguo amore mio." Marcus said loud enough for Helena to hear. Praying she can hear him and that she will come back to him. (please come back to me my love. i will do my best to protect you. you are my second chance. i can not lose you. if you do not make it i shall follow you my love.)

~Time skip~

It's had been a week and still Helena has not woken up and Marcus has not left her side not even to feed. His eyes were as dark as Vantablack. His brothers and guard has tried to get Marcus to leave his room even to feed or check and clean his mate. But he still did not leave, he only allowed Jane to come and check on his mate under his close supervision. He also allowed her to clean and change her. He may have been in the room but he turned his back to give them some decency. But after that he would growl at anyone who knocked on the door or spoke to him, even if it was to see if he was ok or wanted to feed.

~Time skip~

Two days later as Marcus looks out the window to the garden glowing under the high sun when he heard it.

Helena's heart had finally stopped. Marcus turned around and within a second was next to her waiting for her to open her eyes and look at him.

Just a few minutes past then an hour and Marcus thought she was gone from this world, and that shattered his undead heart and he let out a mornful roar as he clutched to Helena like a life line and ran as quickly as he possible could to the throne room where his brothers and elite guard where sure to be.

~In the throne room~

The King's and elite guard heard Marcus mornful roar knowing that Helena must not have woken up. Everyone put their heads down in sadness. Felix and Demetri tries to hide their whimpers for the lose of a soul-sister they just got to meet. Jane and Alec where beyond angry. How could her own twin be so hateful to her? What did she ever do to her? It pained the twins to think of hating each other, so how could Isabella hate her twin? Caius and Aro where saddened not only for the lose of a sister that could have been, but also a brother as they know what he will ask and they know they can not deny him this, not this time for a true mate to be left behind will drive them to insanity and Marcus was not far from that now as he had not fed in almost two weeks.

All was silent waiting for the doors to be opened. And only a moment passed and the doors opened revealing a grieving king holding on to his queen with tears that will never fall. Falling to his knees infront of his brothers laying his mate softly on the ground, moving the hair from her face.

"EVERYONE LEAVE NOW!!" Caius belowed at the guard.

And within a second all the guard had left and it was just the four of them left in the room in silence. Until Marcus spoke up.

"I can not live without her brothers, please do not make me you know what happens when one half of a mated pair is killed and I can not and will not live without her." He sounded weak as he pleaded for death but he did not care. He was ready to face death to be with his mate again.

Caius and Aro looked sadly at their brother as he knelt infront of them begging for death.

Aro walked slowly to his brother and spoke gently to him. "As much as this pains me, pains us, I will grant you this, but first shall we have a funeral for your mate before you meet her again." You could hear the grief and pain in Aro's voice.

Marcus looked up at his brother and gave a slight nod of his head before holding his mate once again to take her to a room to prepare her for the funeral and Marcus left for only a few moments to change to look his best to put his mate to rest.

But while he did this Helena woke up alone looking around being able to see everything alone clearer than she had ever done before. Slowly getting up looking down at what she is wearing. It was a beautiful black and red dress.

Slowly Helena walked to the mirror across the room not realising how fast she moved gasped as she saw herself with red eyes. That was when she felt it, the burning in her throat the hunger for blood but she didn't know that so left the room to find the kitchen surly they will have something to eat right and wouldn't mind to much.......

Reawakening

It had been just a few hours since Helena had fainted in the arms of her mate, and she still hasn't woken up.

There was a knock on the door, and with a quick come in from Marcus, his brothers entered.

"Carlisle shall be here soon, brother. I have informed him of what has happened and has said he shall not say anything to Isabella Swan about young Helena here." Aro said calmly as he walked over to one of the chairs near the window over looking the castle gardens.

Marcus gave a nod in thanks to Aro for his help. "And what of Eleazar is he coming also or not?" He asked softly while taking a quick look at his brothers.

"I have called him. He will be here a few hours after Carlisle, and he is also bringing his mate along with him." Caius told he brother while he took the seat near the fire.

"Good, good." Marcus said before turning back to his mate.

The room was silent for while the only noise that could be heard was the crackling of the fire and the turning of pages. They didn't have trials today as they wanted to be there for their brother and new sister.

~Time skip~

Carlisle had just arrived at the volturi castle and was being led to the room Helena was in with the King's.

As soon as they got to the door, the receptionist quickly knocked on the door. Waiting for the come in from one of the King's only for the door to open revealing Aro.

"Ah, Carlisle, my old friend, come in." Aro said in happiness. Turning to the receptionist and saying. "Thank you, dear one you may return to what you was doing."

"Thank you master." the receptionist said, quickly bowing her head and hurrying away before Carlisle could thank her.

As they entered the room, Carlisle looked to the young Swan girl he didn't know existed.

"I want to apologise on behalf of my family for theit wrong doings. If I had known, I would have stopped them from hurting her." Carlisle said with his head down in shame that his children had done this to the poor girl and being the cause of her now being a vampire.

"I can't say I forgive you for what they have done because I can not. Her time as a human was cut short because of them. But I shall not use it against you as no one can control everyone." Marcus said lowly. "Just please have a look at her and tell us what is wrong."

Carlisle nodded and took slow, steady steps so as not to cause Marcus to go into defence mode to protect his mate from a potential threat.

"You said she cried blood and then fainted. What caused her to faint? Like what happened leading up to this?" Carlisle asked as he looked at the young girl.

"She killed a human." Caius deadpanned with his signature scowl on his face as he looked at his old cover brother.

"And she figured out that she is a vampire." Aro added, also looking at Carlisle, making him shift in his spot.

"She didn't know about vampires?" Carlisle asked in shock because he thought they would have at least told her what they were doing and what they were.

"No, they did not!" Marcus snapped at him, causing Carlisle to flinch at his tone.

Then, the silence set in while Carlisle did his checks under the close supervision of the King's.

Carlisle stood up and stepped away from the bed and spoke softly. "I believe she is sleeping, which is impossible for a vampire, and the blood tears I am not sure I have never heard or seen anything like this." He said with confidence. "Have you spoken to Eleazar? He may be able to tell you what gift she has. I think she may have the gift of humanity."

"Yes, he is on his way." Marcus said as he moved closer to his mate and held her hand in his.

Just as the silence set in and Carlisle was about to leave. Helena started to move a bit and held tighter to Marcus' hand as she opened her eyes and looked at him.

"ciao bello," She said with a smile.

"ciao amore mio," Marcus said with a smile on his face.

"Blood bag." The voice of Carlisle said softly, holding a blood bag out to the new young queen.

Helena shot her head in his direction, hissing at the other men in the room before realising what she just did.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I don't know why I did that." She said in shock, covering her mouth mouth with her hand, reaching out with the other one to take the blood bag with a quick thank you before she started to drink it slowly. As she looked up at Marcus, she slowly took the blood bag out of her mouth to offer some to Marcus. "Do you want some? It tastes amazing." She said with a bright smile.

"No, thank you, Amore mio." Marcus said with a chuckle while the other kings and Carlisle watched in aw and wonder as to her calmness and kindness to share her blood bag.
