Bellacorns on Howrse

Got a VIP test pass and figured I’d breed my Falacorns and Fallabellas together and preview the new Bellacorns that should be coming to Howrse (International server at least, not sure about the others.)

Note: I have all the Falacorns released so far, and a few of the Fallabellas. Since you can only breed these once I’ll be able to breed three Bellacorns.

First Attempt:

Breeding the same colors together and...

1. Who designed these because that looks like a lazy photoshop

2. It is interesting to see what feature came from which parent. In this one, the Bellacorn got its sire’s mane and wings, and its dam’s horn and tail.

Second Attempt:

Didn’t match colors this time, but went with what I thought would be an ok color palette (pink and purple).  Interestingly, the Bellacorns start as eggs, but, like any other foal, you have to feed them and you have the option of foal games.This particualr Bellacorn looks more like its dam, with the wings being inherited from the sire.

Third Attempt:

Crossing two of the same colors this time, I got a bellacorn that’s fallabella body, and falacorn head.  So...it looks like there may be a slight random factor in features that come from each parent? There’s also a new falacorn that's going to be released in the holiday packs this year, so maybe I’ll get some more interesting combos when I breed these for real when the feature goes live!
