The thing about Misha Collins is, in an unitentional way hes saved my life more then once. Without him i wouldnt have met and made some of the most important friends in my life. And its all thanks to this crazy awesome idea he had to make The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World has Ever Seen. Without GISHWHES, I wouldnt have Emma, or Brenda, or Bruni and Elena (and many others from my teams) in my life right now and they are everything to me. It was by raw chance I was able to squeeze up the last spot on their team from the 2012 hunt, but dear god was i blessed to have gotten it in the last 50 seconds of sign ups for the hunt. They are what keeps me strong and helps me breath through eachday, and without them I can honestly say I might not have been here to write this out today. So this is me wanting to thank a wonderful and talented, and brilliant man for helping me see that things in this world arent as dark as I once thought. Not only because of how caring and warm hearted he is, but because of the people he’s helped me and millions of others meet. He will ever be my biggest inspiration and my heart will ever love him for being the man he is. So thank you Misha, for being who you are.

CHINCHILLAS ARE SO CUTE. i recently bought two female mice, but no one told me they were both pregnant, so now i have 24 mice and they are ADORABLE.
HOLY THAT'S A LOT OF MICE
THEY ARE SO CUTE but their cages need to be tall so I have no room for a Chinchilla :(
Team Lazarus currently has openings for GISHWHES II!
Team Lazarus took part in GISHWHES II last October and had one of the best weeks because of it. We have lost some team members as they are unable or unwilling to take part this year, and would love for you to join us. Our current team consists of:
Emma (belladonnanightmare), 22, London UK Darcy (whenitrainsitpourss), 17, New York, USA Bruni (mynameisbruni), 18, New Paltz, New York, USA (tentative list)
We will welcome people from all countries, with a variety of backgrounds but understandable-fluent English speaking and writing is essential. As a team, we would prefer to have a variety of countries and cultures in our group, and not too many friends from one area.
Requirements include having your own bank account, being over the age of 16, must be dedicated, and be willing to spend time, money and sleepless nights on the hunt and must know who Misha Collins is and be willing to lose your mind to impress him. We would also like you to be a Supernatural fan, as that seems to have bonded the group last year, and most of us are still friends because of this common ground! Skills we’re currently looking for: Computer painting/drawing Crafts, art, textiles (such as sewing/knitting) IT skills Connections is a big thing that will make us more likely to want you in our group (radio, TV, doctors, lawyers, orchestra, pilots, military, government, police officers, …)
Just send one of us an ask with your traits/skills listed, and a little about yourself of course!

i am so sorry if that was me in the faith tag. really, i’m sorry. i forgot about hiding things under cuts. i’ll hide it now, even though it’s too late :(
I caught a glimpse of it. It was enough to spoil, but I managed to avoid reading much of it because I immediately went into spoiler defense mode and started raging. It's a thing that I do. So yeah, idk everything from it, but honestly, it's not just your fault because I should know better than to be on tumblr before I watch such an important episode of something and you have every right to post what you want. It's all good.
ah that sucks. but seriously, i see you live in england so do some research on the online shopping sites and see if you can find any recipes for things you do like. there are quite a few on the bbc website that are veg/vegan and there are tons of books on veg cooking. it'll take a while to get used to, but if you're planning on being veg for longterm, you'll get to a point where you'll barely think about the fact that you don't eat meat until someone brings it up :P good luck xo
That's what I'm planning, my mum and I together know a good number of recipes for non-meat dinners and stuff so proper meals will mostly be okay. I'm just bothered about snacks but, I'll figure something out... I always do :)
I'm definitely planning on being veggie for a good long time - my mother and I have totally gone off meat because of the horse-meat scandal and now there's questions about fish and urgh. It's getting to the point where plants are the safest damned things to munch on!
Thank you and good luck to you also IDEK why I've just said that but my mamma raised me to be polite so :)
nah i feel you. i buy things as i want to eat them that day, because otherwise they won't be there when i go back! maybe not try to the meat alternatives, and research meat-free recipes that you can have. like mac&cheese, veg curry, falafals, quiche, pastas, pizza, salads.. there's like 6 different meals for you right there :P i'm not a big fan of a lot of the meatreplacement foods, so i tend to eat meat-free meals more often than those.
I really wish it were that easy but, I'm further limited by; my dislike of certain foods (yay for my Asperger's *frown*) and allergies etc.
I don't like curry, quiche and pastas are essentially a no-no because I've become adverse to eating pasta often (thanks to literally living on pasta for about a month with no sauce or anything else because we were travelling and lost our money and stuff... yeah, we no smart people).
Meat-replacement is actually horrid for me so everything's now just meat-free.
I'll probably go crazy and start baking or something and just making cheese-and-onion toasties and crap like that until I die :p
i went veggie when i was 15, and also lived in a meat-eater household, alongside a father who thought it was stupid and pointless. i basically lived off of whatever they cooked minus the meat (so potatoes and veggies tbh). when i got to about 17 i started buying my own food which was easier, though not cheap. but i would still have the potatoes/veg that my parents cooked. i'm now 22 and buy all of my own food, and have done since i was 18 as i started full time work then after college.
(part2) it's not easy, but seeing as your blog says you're 19 (?) if you supply your own alternatives to meat you'll get the hang of being veggie if you plan to be long-term. the only time i ever really think about what i can and can't eat is when i go to restaurants. but i understand that not everyone at your age has a job so maybe have a browse around a supermarket and let your parents know what you'd like to try, they could buy & you could cook yourself, which is what i did while in school :)
.
My mum’s also gone veggie with me but she likes the vegetarian meat-replacement stuff (I really don’t) so she eats Linda McCartney not-sausage rolls.
It’s annoying that it costs so much to eat alternatively *unamused face*
That’s pretty awesome though, being able to buy your own food means you don’t have to basically live off scraps and meagre portions. I’ll probably have to do the same thing while I’m still living with my parents - which will be fun since my brother doesn’t understand the concept of “no it’s not for you, they’re the only things your sister will eat”
Also sorry, tumblr let me do a private reply to you
And I just saw your second message :p
My college is awful for providing alternative meals for people. I'm not a big fan of pasta so I'm limited to; panini's (but only the cheese ones because all the others are meat), sandwiches (but in the winter you want warm food naturally), pasta and chips. In the morning at college they only have toast but it's always burnt and horribly charred so I can't eat it.
Stupid college...
