so gabriel gabe and his twin brother mattias matt were born in barcelona, spain. they lived there with their parents until the twins were about eight. matt was always the favorite twin, being more outgoing, friendly and lively than gabe. though this didn’t bother gabe much, since he adored his brother and was perfectly fine living in his brother’s shadow. long story short, matt and gabe were best friends. no one truly understood gabe besides his twin brother. 

when they were eight, their parents ( a professor and an ambassador ) decided to move to the united states for their careers. gabe was pretty indifferent to where they lived so the move didn’t affect him much. they traveled around the united states a lot; living in new york city for a bit before moving to chicago for a few years, then finally settled in seattle when the boys were about 16.

( tw: drunk driving ) about a month after they moved to seattle, gabe was driving home from a friend’s house with his brother in the passenger seat when they were t-boned at an intersection by a drunk driver. gabe was able to walk away with a few broken ribs, while gabe wasn’t so lucky.

gabe was never the best with feelings to begin with, but after losing the only person he usually talked to about how he felt, he shut down completely. he figured if he never allowed himself to feel again, he was keeping himself safe.

he became really reclusive and just studied hard and kept to himself mostly. he is currently going for his doctorate in engineering and is doing study abroad in italy.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

gabe is a vvv closed off person. like the people he considers his ‘friends’ are the people who don’t piss him off + can put up with his constant negativity

speaking of which, he is probably one of the biggest cynics you will ever meet. he truly believes everyone’s out for their own self interest which is part of the reason he isn’t really close with a lot of people

one of the only outlets he has for all of his pent up emotions is music. he can play almost all stringed instruments, but he took a special liking to the bass, and he currently plays in a band

despite all this, he’s very intelligent and very organized. also, if you are lucky enough to be considered one of his ‘friends’ he’s a good listener and gives pretty decent advice also

apologises for the lack of information, my laptop decided to have an aneurysm of some sort and shut down, causing me to lose all my work so this was written in like 10 minutes? 

okay.. so like orion is a HUGE nature fiend and will do practically anything to defend it ? like he admires the simplicity and natural feeling of bellagio and refuses to let the tourists to wreak havoc upon it !! 

so ya... i’m not going to go into depth abt his childhood because there’s not much to say really bc it was rly bland and simple ? basically, he comes from hispanic and american descent and was born in new york but at the age of three, his father kinda had an outburst of rage and said he wanted orion to lead a natural life rather than an artificial one so they relocated as a family to a small area called visgnola within the commune of bellagio, lombardy. 

at the age of nine, he decided he wanted to learn to write musical notation as he’d seen it throughout his household during growing up and that’s how he picked up piano and guitar as that was the easiest way to pick it up ? it wasn’t the most exciting but it kept him calm and serene !

keeping him serene soon became hard as he aged, orion slowly becoming more hyperactive and sensitive around everything... this was soon diagnosed as ADHD and was put on immediate medication which to this day, he struggles remembering to take. so like, he’ll have days where he’s louder than usual or days where he’s a little wreckless ? it’s not something to worry about, he just isn’t fond of being restricted to the medication but playing the piano is very helpful for him !

he’s a closeted homosexual and will literally deny his feelings towards anyone, he’s very aggravating !! 

he currently majors in fine arts at university !!

from external analysis, he can be seen as very cerebral but if asked, he’ll tell you that it stems from his father as he’s practically a genius himself.

but yea, he’s like rly defensive about shit he cares about ? that including his family, nature, bellagio & music ... he’s kind of a technology free kid ? he probably has some shitty flip phone ... bet !

grew up in a rich ass family . like they’re originally from the united states but they had a house in bellagio and when she was a couple months old, they just decided to move there permanently bc they liked the vibe y’know ? 

so yeah she’s grown up here since she was a baby ! loves it here and her and her family like it a lot more (bc it allows her father to get away from her mother, yikes)

her parents don’t get along at all and it’s what caused her to move out as soon as she got out of school and started at uni, which she majored in business in and graduated from a year ago !

is still struggling to find a job but works as a barista while she looks around at job openings/potential businesses she could create

incredibly rational . like to a point that it’s kind of a negative thing and annoying ;LKAJDS;F 

won’t take risks knowing thye might not work out bc she doesn’t want to screw things up for herself !! and she’d rather just live doing things that are in the box and where she’ll be happen, even tho she’s not reaching her potential ya feel

kind of a paradox bc while she’s like that she’ll be super fearless and determined ?? it’s just ?? if the cons seem like too much for her in a situation/decision then she won’t go for it (it just kinda depends basically)

he’s 27 years (april 17th, 1990) but not really because he sucks at being an adult

born and raised in drammen, norway (bc i’m using every chance i get to make norwegian characters ops)

he has one older sister and one younger brother

school hasn’t really been his thing. he graduated high school and a year of folk high school, but he has yet to get a bachelor’s degree in anything

the boy is trans and started hrt when he was 22 years old, and had top surgery at 23. when he came out, at 20, his siblings and parents weren’t exactly surprised, but his mother had a bit of a hard time with it bc she sort of felt like she lost a daughter (that old bs). eventually it all passed though and they have a very good relationship now

has in the recent years started exploring his sexuality more, he always said he was strictly into women, but has realized that might not be the case

so he’s bi?? or pan ?? who knows. he doesn’t. but he ain’t in the closet, he’s just .. a bit inexperienced

toxic masculinity was a big ass thing in his life as he felt he needed to prove to everyone he was a guy, but that shit has calmed down

personality wise he is uhh very impulsive and easily trusts new people and lets them into his life - which sometimes turns out has been a big ass mistake, but he hasn’t learned from it smh

naomi has found herself in bellagio all because of one man: hugo bruin.

naomi was actually born mathilda houtman in amsterdam !

mathilda met hugo in college where the two began dating. her parents were in immediate support of their relationship, as hugo came from a family of means. since mathilda came from quite the opposite, they knew that hugo would be able to provide for their daughter in areas where they had fallen short. they truly believed that hugo could give their daughter the life she deserved.

this led to an engagement right out of college that was solidified with hugo’s promises of giving mathilda a life she could only dream of. 

however, as their relationship progressed, small arguments turned into explosive disputes. hugo’s behavior turned him into someone that mathilda no longer recognized. 

the blonde remained optimistic in hopes that with time, things would get better. much to her dismay, though, they only got worse. 

hugo felt entitled to mathilda, essentially feeling as though he had her trapped because of everything he’d done and promised her. it didn’t help that hugo  had mathilda’s parents in his corner as well. 

their last year together was the worst of it all. mathilda had tried to reach out to her parents for help, but they failed to understand the severity of how bad things had gotten. with all the excitement surrounding the wedding that was approaching, they remained oblivious to the emotional and physical abuse that their daughter was enduring. 

she’d tried everything to get out and her options were dwindling. 

when she finally reached her breaking point, she knew that her only way out would be to flee. so, mathilda took all the money she’d had saved, and after searching for some of the most beautiful cities in nearby countries, she decided on bellagio, lombardy.

 she bought a one way plane ticket and hasn’t looked back since. 

upon her arrival in bellagio, mathilda decided to adopt the alias naomi willemsen to ensure an entirely fresh start and to leave the life of mathilda houtman behind her.

 today, naomi works as a waitress at vista lago. 

after a year in bellagio, naomi is the happiest she’s ever been !

she loves the people, the language (which after a year of struggling she’s fluent !), and most importantly the scenery.

so this is my actual ray of sunshine , arlo !! like you cannot meet anyone happier than this guy... he practically emits positive energy and you can’t really help but be relaxed around him ?

he has a lil’ kid called bruno and he’s a literal younger arlo but with 10x the energy ? you’d be convinced he’s on crack ... it’s scary how hyperactive he is ... 

as for bruno’s mother, she kind of decided that the family lifestyle wasn’t for her and she kind of moved on pretty fast which hurt arlo a lot ... like imagine having a kid with the woman of your dreams to be told that she didn’t feel the same way ... shit sucked and arlo was left to raise lil’ bruno !!

arlo dealt with the pain for a long time before eventually deciding four to six months later that life was too short to be sad over someone who wasn’t worth your time and that you should just live it to the max ... this is when he decided that he wanted to travel the world with bruno and give the kid a wild experience he could never forget !!

anyways, life in olinda was great for arlo, he got along with everyone and everyone got along with him, it was a mutual relationship with everyone... that’s just how it worked !! that’s as interesting as his time got there... nothing to exactly write home about ?

whilst growing up, arlo experimented with boys and girls, trying to ‘discover’ himself... he soon came to the conclusion that it hadn’t been the genders that he’d been interested in the person themselves... so ya, if you add it up, you’ll soon discover he’s pansexual !

but yea , he kinda revolves his life around bruno and would do anything for the kid like you’ll never see him without bruno... unless he’s drinking then he’ll make a few hours exception...

currently living with nico in an apartment, nico being a man who he also loves to the moon and back ( platonically ) !!

if you see him around , he’ll usually offer a grin and wave unless he has good reason for him not to OR he’s had little sleep and barely making it around so he’s diverting his full attention to staying awake !!

alrighty so aspen grew up on the west coast of the us in socal, so this boy was raised with sand in his hair and surfing in the pacific instead of going to school

his parents were both really young when they had him, them being twenty year olds, so he grew up in a lax household 

they embraced the typical beach lifestyle, living right across the street from the beach, always going to the beach and surfing, it’s just what made them happy

so needless to say, aspen didnt rly get good grades in school, mainly due to the fact that he just never showed up bc his parents were always talking about the swells in the water, and he just loved the outdoors too much

college was never an option for him so instead of graduating and going to college like a majority of his classmates, he decided to travel using the savings he had accumulated over the course of the years

he started traveling around the us, going to every state, living in states like hawaii and oregon because he rly loved them

he never had a plan, he would always say he would just go wherever the wind took him

eventually, he started working on private yachts and traveling all around the world, especially the mediterranean and around italy

so up until four years ago he was doing that for years but they stopped in bellagio once and he just decided to quit and move here

rn he’s working as a barista at bar rossi just doin his own thing living life but he’s always down for taking odd lil jobs tbh

he’s living right on the outskirts of town in a relatively small & cheap apartment just himself

personality wise, he’s my tol bi bi bi bean

he’s always so sweet and ready to drop everything he has to go help someone even if they treat him like garbage tbh

and bc of that he’ll never say no to you, even if it’s something he doesnt necessarily want to do 

he has loads of patience and is always willing to work wiht someone when they have some sort of problem like he’s just such a good boi
