I love the fact that you like Gaia, if you could rewrite her storyline what would it be? And I think you were the one who said something about Gaia x Gabriel? Listen my life has never been the same since, its truly a good ship ever since you explained yourself of 2 overcoming their religion/cults/etc.. so thank you!

Oof, there are so many storylines that I’ve thought of for her.

1. If her introduction had been in s3, I would have liked her to be the flame keeper in Titus’s place. Maybe have Clarkaia (or whatever their ship name is) happen instead of CL. Also, I would have dropped the Indra x O/ctavia relationship and focused instead on Indra’s relationship with her actual daughter. It infuriates me that in s4 Indra seemed to love the psycho white girl who went on senseless killing sprees instead of her own black daughter, just because Gaia didn’t want to lead armies and O/ctavia was a “warrior.”

2. I’ve also always thought that if nightblood and the flame didn’t exist, then maybe Gaia could have been introduced as the next commander when L runs away off screen to be with Costia or something. Like, maybe Costia was alive the whole time, and since L has been getting death threats she’s like, “Alright, I think I’ve had enough of this bullshit, gonna go run away with my beautiful ex girlfriend.” But anyway, the point is, Gaia would basically be the commander in place of L in s3.

3. If her introduction was still in s4, I’d probably make Gaia a nightblood instead of a flame keeper and have her lead the bunker instead of O/ctavia. In this scenario, I’d also keep Roan alive, and maybe have something happen between him and Gaia, mainly because I think it would be funny watching Indra’s reaction to her daughter having feelings for the king of the Ice Nation. Maybe it’s just me, but I think it would have been hilarious. Also, Roanaia just sounds cool to me.

4. I also think if she had ended up on the Ring instead of E/cho, that would have been really interesting. The only other grounder up there would be Emori, and Emori is far from a normal grounder. Gaia would have been forced to see things from a different perspective. Maybe Bellamy and Gaia could have been a thing too. Bellaia. I kinda like it.

5. The last one is, as you mentioned, my Gaia x Gabriel crackship coming to life. Gaia has never been with anyone romantically on the show, and I would love to see that side of her, especially with Gabriel since they have a lot in common if you think about it. Even if it doesn’t happen, which it probably won’t, I really hope that they at least become friends. Gaia could learn a lot from him. My greatest wish for her now is that she finally lets go of the grounder religion. They kind of set that up in s6 with her choosing Madi over the flame, so I’d continue that development with her into s7. 

And you’re welcome for introducing you to the Gaiabriel ship, as I call them! They are truly the crackship of crackships and I adore them despite the fact that Gabriel x O/ctavia will likely happen instead.

(not the) First line of my Bellamy/Gaia The Magicians AU fic, where Bellamy goes to Brakebills, meets Gaia, and then they find out Octavia’s magic has been stolen and they have to get it back. 

“He missed his sister. He had hoped her magic would manifest before he left, but it never did. They had the same mother, but Octavia’s father did not have magical gifts, and it seems Octavia had taken after him.”

Also in the works is the next chapter of my Sansa/Meera fic, whatever my chopped holiday fic ends up being, and who knows what else. i’ve gotten rid of a bunch of my WIP’s recently.

my favorite underrated the 100 ships in no order:

1. i will never shut up about how these two should have happened instead of blecho...we were truly robbed.

2. peak SOFTNESS. bellamy deserves to have a girl who runs her fingers through his hair every fucking day. my heart melted when this scene first aired.

3. niylah was one of the most emotionally-mature characters on this show in s4 and we don’t talk enough about how good it was to show two wlw having casual sex and neither of them wanting it to be anything more than that and it being portrayed as healthy. 4x06 niylarke was fucking important.

4. i’m glad the actor is gone, but wick truly was good for raven. he really did help her come to terms with the fact that it’s okay to need somebody. yeah, raven can do most things on her own, but she shouldn’t have to. nobody should have to. and there were also some times when raven really couldn’t do something by herself, and that’s okay too! it doesn’t make you weak to admit that you need help. it makes you brave.

5. i’ve always kind of liked m.emori, but the more i think about it, the way mrphy treated emori in s5 was y i k e s, and i think she and raven could be really good together. when mrphy was upset with emori for wanting to be a part of something bigger than herself, raven was there for her, teaching her things. she helped emori do the things she wanted to do and was supportive of her “following her dreams” if you will. mrphy holds emori back. raven allows her to move forward. do i think the show will ever go there with these two? no. do i think they would be healthy wlw rep? hell fucking yes.

6. minty was and always will be my otp, but i really enjoyed briller and like them a lot more than m.ackson tbh. i wish bryan was still in the show and that he and miller were still together. also, the fact that we had finn unable to wait more than a few days before cheating on raven while miller is over here waiting like four months for bryan??? neither finn or miller knew if they’d ever see their girlfriend/boyfriend again, but miller, unlike finn, waited. i love one (1) loyal boyfriend and his name is nathan miller.

7. ngl, i just like them because they would be a really aesthetically pleasing couple. also, anything is better than blecho, so i would have loved to see gaia in space instead of e.cho so that we could have bellaia right now instead.

8. millamy > mrphamy any fucking day. i love these two platonically, but i would adore them in any and all forms.
