if you know me at all, this past year i’ve been converted into huge murphamy trash. the url change might be a hint, but - i’ve ALWAYS been huge fanfiction trash. thereby; murphamy fanfiction was big for me this year.

favourite part?: the characterization!!! the writing style is so perfect for murphamy. it’s unreal.

favourite part?: i’m such a sucker for characterization, and this one, like the work above, paints such a good picture of how murphamy would react in each situation. plus! mbege is heavily featured and MAN that is such a rarity these days.

essentially: central points in murphy’s life, detailing everyone he’s loved
favourite part?: this one has so much angst for so few words. the insight in murphy’s thoughts is so poignant and perfect.

favourite part?: the details, descriptions of everything that happens serves as such a perfect backbone to his character - while bellamy’s not physically in this one, it fits the murphamy dynamic quite nicely.

essentially: divergence where bellamy stops the infamous hanging.
favourite part?: honestly? it’s what canon should have been, and that’s why i love it so much. bellamy’s fear when the hanging almost happens is so...it’s incredible.

favourite part: like the above - it’s what we deserved!! it’s what should have happened in canon and it warms my heart to read.
those may have been my favourite...but there are so many others. also - most of the authors up there have more than just that one fic, they are all beautiful, pls go give murphamy some love they need it we need it the world needs it happy new year y’all
