With the abomination that was Bellator 69, here’s to hoping they can figure things out with BFC 70. The long awaited Heavyweight Title match up between Prindle and Konrad will finally take place along with the Lightweight Tourney final between Hawn and Weedman.

Bellator 70 is the last event for the 6th season and Bellator has planned to end with a bang. Bellator 70 is featuring a heavy weight title fight, bantam weight semi final #2, and the light weight tournament final.
The 1st fight is a catch weight match up @ 157 lbs between Derek “Stallion” Campos (9-2) vs MMA veteran Rich “No Love” Clementi (42-21-1)
Round 1) Campos comes out pawning the jab. Clementi lands a leg kick, Campos answers with a over hand left that misses but, Clementi slips ends up on the ground. Campos allows Clementi back up. Campos engages the clinch gets to the cage then breaks apart. Clementi now comes forward, drops for the take down and is pressuring against the cage. Clementi after a struggle on the cage is able to get the trip and gets to half guard. Campos is able to regain the guard position. Celmenti stands up, Campos tries getting back to his feet but ducks his head down. Clementi jumps on the extended open neck and sinks in a guillotine and Campos is forced to tap.
Winner: By submission @ 4:18 of the 1st round Rich Clementi.

The next fight is bantam weight semi final #2 with Brazilian Luis Nogueira (13-2) vs Japaneses fighter Hiroshi “Iron” Nakamura (15-5-4)
Round 1) Nakamura comes out with a lot of movement. Nogueira is 1st to strike landing a leg kick. The 2nd kick is low being a cup shot. Nakamura only takes a second to compose and they are back to fighting. Nakamura engages the clinch and Nogueira lands 2 big right forcing Nakamura to back off. Nakamura shoots in for the take down and Nogueira is able to defend. Nakamura drops down goes for the single leg Nogueira answers with a attempt on a leg lock that Nakamura steps out of. Nakamura again attacks with the single leg this time getting the take down but Nogueira is quick to jump back to his feet. Nogueira now grabs the clinch walks Nakamura to the cage, changes level garbing a ankle pick putting Nakamura on his but for a second. Nogueira end the round pressing Nakamura against the cage.
Round 2) Nogueira starts off coming out walking forward throwing punches. Nakamura again tries a take down that Nogueira defends. Nogueira is landing punches as Nakamura is desperately going for take downs. Nogueira forces Nakamura to the cage and starts to open up with combinations. Nogueira is stalking using jumping knees and landing punches. Nogueira backs Nakamura against the cage goes and grabs Nakamura for a huge WWE body slam but, Nakamura jumps right back up. Nakamura is bleeding from two spots on his face from the damage he is taking. Nogueira is stalking forward and landing at will as the round ends.
Round 3) Nakamura come out moving around a lot getting close to Nogueira nut reluctant to throw a punch. Nogueira lands the a low leg kick. Nogueira again pushing forward landing with the left hook and continuing to pressure Nakamura. Nogueira come in with a tight right hook landing on the chin of Nakamura . Nakamura is down and a extra punch form Nogueira finishes the job. Referee Jason Hurzog jumps in to stop the action.
Winner: by TKO @ 1:58 of the 3rd round Luis Nogueira.
Luis Nogueira will next meet Marcos Galvao sometime during the Bellator summer series to determine the season 6 bantam weight tournament winner and become the 1st challenger for Eduardo Dantas.
The next fight was for the Bellator heavy weight title between season 5 heavy weight tournament winner “American Soldier” Eric Prindle (9-1) vs undefeated champion Cole “Polar Bear” Konrad (8-0)
Round 1) Both men come out tentative for the 1 15 seconds. Prindle throws a big left hook that misses Konrad gets the take down jumps right to side control, locks up the kimura and we have a tap.
Winner: By submission @ 1:00 of the 1st round Cole Konrad
Cole Konrad is dominate in a quick win. This only being Konrad's 1st title defense since winning the belt over a year ago, I just got to say Konrad needs more challengers now!
The last fight on this card is the light weight tournament finals between former American judo Olympian Rick Hawn (13-1) vs well rounded Brent Weedman (20-7-1)
Round 1) Weedman land 1st with a body kick. Hawn comes in with a doubled up overhand right. Both men are swing and missing trying to find range. Weedman walks in close to Hawn the two clinch Hawn tries for a trip but Weedman keeps balance and they break. Weedman is being effective with kicks to the body. Hawn is landing the jab with consistency. Weedman again gets close Hawn misses with a overhand right , Weedman lands a knee. Hawn answers with a trip and then from standing Hawn lands 2 punches then lets Weedman up. The round end evenly.
Round 2) Hawn starts off with a 1,2 combination. Weed man gets close cliches and Hawn has Weedman forced against the cage. They break and again come back to the clinch Hawn is muscling Weedman around the cage not fully committing to the take down. Hawn is consistently throwing punches and staying busy, while Weedman more reactive then aggressive. The round ends with Weedman landing a knee and a left from the clinch.
Round 3) Hawn come right in clinches Weedman lands a knee backing Hawn off. Weedman is throwing push kicks trying to keep the range. Hawn left jab is getting through Weedmans defense. Hawn shots a double leg get the take down. Hawn is on top in guard landing punches and elbows. Weedman throws his legs up tries for a triangle but Hawn postures up and gets out of the submission attempt. Weedman get to the cage and gets back to his feet. Weedman presses forward grabs the clinch and ends the fight pressing Hawn against the cage.
We go to the judges : (29-28) (30-27) (30-27) for the winner by unanimous decision Rick Hawn.
Rick Hawn is the season 6 light weight tournament champion. The next time we see Rick Hawn he will be facing Michael Chandler for the Bellator light weight title.
