Sneijder moves to Galatasaray!
Turkish outfit, Galatasaray, have confirmed that Wesley Sneijder has signed a 3 and-a-half year deal
The transfer itself was foreshadowed months ago, but the choice of club comes as a shock to many. After declining a €2million pay cut on his 5-year contract from, he stopped featuring in first-team affairs. Staramaccioni insisted this was a tactical decision, but with a world-class player like Sneijder available to play one would question the motives of his decision.

Pep Guardiola agrees to Bayern Munich job
Pep Guardiola has agreed to takeover as Bayern Munich manager in July 2013 after a year-long hiatus since leaving Barcelona
The media have been praising the decision by Pep and many believe he has chosen the best team to match his footballing philosophy. With Bayern being so dominant this, Guardiola taking over will surely lead to success as the 2012 Champions League finalists will be bullish about their chances to win it under the face of "tiki-taka" football.
Some have criticised him for choosing a league too easy from him and not taking on the challenge of the Premier League. It is definitely a huge disappointment for EPL fans that he has chosen Germany and could possibly prevent him from being considered the world's best without playing in the world's, while not necessary talented, but most competitive league in the world.

QPR complete shock signing of Loic Remy!
It was confirmed on 16 January 2013 that Queens Park Rangers have signed French striker Loic Remy from Marseille.
It is reported that the transfer fee broke club records at £8million.
The France international had been prolific for Marseille in earlier seasons and now hopes to evolve his game in the Premier League. This is truly a masterpiece signing by Harry Redknapp in my opinion. I believe the he's worth around £15m and he signed him for half that. Redknapp had been a known admirer of the striker and tried to sign him while at Tottenham. I have already stated I believe Redknapp can and will save QPR from relegation this season and this is definitely a good way to boost their chances.
Remy admitted Redknapp was key to his decision to join the London club and says their conversations about his future stretch far beyond the goal of staying out of the drop zone come the end of the season.

Grading Chelsea Summer Transfers: Victor Moses
Victor Moses, 21, Winger - From Wigan Athletic, Undisclosed (around £9m)
Grade: B-
Review: I, personally, am a big fan of Victor Moses and was excited by rumours of him joining Chelsea (a transfer that ome were surprised by). He was a regular first team player for strugglers Wigan last season, lighting up opposition with quick movement and direct play from the wings. He has the ability to be the difference between winning and losing a game.
The game in which he really stood out to me in was when he played for Wigan against, current club, Chelsea in a Premier League opener. He played a huge part in every Wigan attack and was the sole reason Chelsea were so unexpectedly threatened on the back foot. He gave Ashley Cole nightmares and often found himself on the edge of the box looking for a cross. That is his weakness- the final ball. He has trouble providing the final ball and it showed as almost all of Wigan’s promising attacks ended in a disappointing and a times desperate attempt to play in the striker.
At a team where Torres is going to need all the help he can get to put balls into the back of the net, Moses doesn’t provide that. Chelsea already have a handful of flashy wingers that love to run down the wings. He is similar to Daniel Sturridge in that respect. Though he may want to provide an assist more than Sturridge the end result is usually quite similar- an unsuccessful final pass.

Grading Chelsea Summer Transfers: Cesar Azpilicueta
Cesar Azpilicueta, 23, Right Back - From Marseille, £6.5m
Grade: B+
Review: Azpilicueta is a young Spanish full back that likes to get forward and support the attack from the wings with crosses and overlapping runs. He first got his break at Osasuna, establishing a first team place in the squad at a very young age. After making nearly 100 appearances for the club (99) he left La Liga French outfit Olympique de Marseille for £5.5m but only played half of his first season at the club due to a knee injury. He returned for the 2011/12 season and made 44 appearances in all competitions.
He caught the eye of many European teams and when Marseille announced they would like to sell Cesar for financial purposes, Chelsea pounced on the deal and snapped him up for a mere £7m. With Bosingwa gone to QPR, Cesar will provide more than decent cover for Ivanovic. But with the Serbian in the prime of his career Cesar will have trouble cementing himself. That might, though, be a good thing. He may be used sparingly in his first season as he gets used to the rigours of the Premiership. Once Ivanovic will be 30 in 2 years and maybe then Cesar will become Chelsea’s automatic right-back. By then he will be 25 which, in my opinion, is a more reasonable age to be a Premier League starter (especially as a defender) than 23.

Grading Chelsea Summer Transfers: Oscar
Oscar, 20, #10 - From Internacional, £25m
Grade: A
Review: The young Brazilian lit up his native league and went on to shine in the 2012 London Olympics, leading Brazil to the final. He has yet to start for Chelsea but for the short cameo’s he has had on the pitch so far he has done well to make an impact. He will more than likely start the premier league match against QPR and give Mata a much needed rest. He has stiff competition for a place in the starting lineup but you can’t keep someone so talented from playing for too long. By next season I think he’ll have a solid stake in the first team.

Grading Chelsea Summer Transfers: Thorgan Hazard
Thorgan Hazard, 19, Winger/#10 - From RC Lens, Undisclosed
Grade: C+
Review: Soon after the deal for Eden Hazard was announced, Chelsea signed his younger brother Thorgan from Ligue 2 side RC Lens. The 19 year-old only managed 14 appearances in the Ligue 2 last season with just one assist to his name. He does show promise but I don’t see him ever becoming a regular first team player in the future. He has been loaned out to Belgian club Zulte Waregem to gain some first team experience.

Grading Chelsea Summer Transfers: Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard, 21, Winger/#10 - From LOSC Lille, £32m
Grade: A+
Review: When it was announced that Hazard had chosen to join the Champions of Europe for the 2012/13 season many people wondered if he would adjust to the pace and power of the Premier League. Despite all his hype, many doubters arose and even more so after an up-and-down pre-season. But Eden Hazard has been a monster ever since the first Premier League game. In four appearances for the club he has made 6 assists and recorded his first goal for the Blues from the penalty spot against Newcastle United.
At only 21, Hazard is an immense talent and handles pressure very well. He has also been able to help unlock Torres’ scoring form along with Juan Mata and the trio has developed a wonderful partnership thus far. It will be interesting to see if he can work well together with fellow youngster Oscar. All we know is this young talent has a very bright future and Di Matteo should be very happy he is playing for Chelsea and not United.

Grading Chelsea Summer Transfers: Marko Marin
Marko Marin, 23, Winger - From Werder Bremen £7m
Grade: B
Review: Marko Marin joined Chelsea at a relatively low fee. A fancy dribbler, Marin loves short passing and combination play. His partnership with Mesut Ozil at Werder Bremen was really something to watch. But clearly he was the weaker of the two and his game hasn’t improved an awful lot since Ozil left to Los Blancos. He has a knack of getting muscle injuries and spent much of last season recovering from minor injuries.
When you see the way Ozil has risen to the top with Real Madrid you may hope that he will have a similar rise to prominence now that he has joined a top club. The problem is that Ozil really caught the eye of the world on the international stage at the 2010 World Cup. Marin, on the other hand, has struggled to get call ups for the German National team and thus hasn’t been able to play on the big stage. With Chelsea acquiring a host of other attacking talent this summer, you’d imagine he will struggle to fit into the first team and may not fulfill the potential he clearly possesses.
