Adam was still adjusting to his move to Meridian, and even with his servants help, he found himself busy - busier than he liked. But, that seemed to be the price of trying to lessen the burden he placed on them since he became an orphan. With his newfound outlook on life, he figured he should start doing some things on his own, they had done enough for him already. One of those tasks he had taken on, was buying books to refurnish his new library in his extravagant second home. That’s how he found himself somewhat lost in the town’s local Barnes & Noble. Spotting a woman, a section away from him, he walked over to her, assuming she’d know the layout of the store better than him. “Pardon me, do you know where-” Adam paused as he caught sight of her face, causing his breath to hitch. “Belle...” He exhaled, softly. “Should have known you’d be in here.” He grinned, knowing the woman was even more of a bookworm than him. @bellefavre
