Did you know this kind of freaky coincidence is known as the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon? It “occurs when a person, after having learned some (usually obscure) fact, word, phrase, or other item for the first time, encounters that item again, perhaps several times, shortly after having learned it.”

Your musings about the Pandorica and the Silence make perfect sense to me and I really hope it's true. They don't just say things on that show, everything means something so they really haven't explained why they put those two phrases together, yet....

'They don't just say things on that show': Indeed! With Doctor Who -especially with Moffat at the helm- nothing should be considered just a throwaway line...(just rewatch series 4 for proof: there is so much lead-up to Journey's End that's only really noticeable if you know what you're listening for!)

There's always the possibility that the two things were just tossed together randomly but I hope not. If just for the sake of having nailed something -which is difficult when such a madman is running the place!
