but ohhh, why did you watch s4? D: i still refuse to, i don't see the point. what makes me SO mad is that sam/alex came off as a really cheap copy of salex bc of the 'rescue' episodes, and then sam becoming her bodyguard like sean was in s2.

I know, so cheap and rushed, ugh the 'sex' scene was ice cold, it made absolutely no sense, like?? just no. Sam's redemption was so fake, like magic, he was a douchebag one minute and the next he was a martyr and Alex fell into his arms madly in love, so fucking ridiculous. The scene when she says Sean was so important to her felt forced; she didn't mention him for about 4 or 5 episodes and they expect us to believe she missed him? Nah man, Sean deserve more than just a fleeting mention in a chat with Sam.
While I was watching all I kept thinking was why not let Alex and Sonya fall in love instead? They were so badass together, passionately fighting human trafficking and all... Alex/Sonya would've been the best choice or simply let Alex staying single to heal and recover I think after all she went through, the last thing she needed was to nurse Sam and his fucked up mind, I mean... 'I'm not Owen, I'm Sam but Owen would've said this...' c'mon!
