Montreal native producer, ANDRU, has been on the radar for a while, and it’s probably time for you to know about his sexy smooth sounds, if you haven’t already heard of them before. This guy is currently getting pretty popular on SoundCloud, and his stuff is getting reposted by some decent trap music charts. Backed by Trapdoor Recs, his two most recent EPs, “L.A” and “Bells,” are really chill, and sensual as hell. So here we go…

L.A

With the reworked sounds of JT’s vocal track in his classic “Summer Love,” ANDRU spins it in a sort of ambient chill trap way in “My Love,” that is really quite stunning. The second track, “Not This Way,” featuring Carson Hayes, is a lot more fast paced, but still keeps with the ambient vibes of the previous track. So yeah, check em out below and download the tracks.

Bells

I personally really like this EP a lot better because of it’s distinct sounds, not that the ambience was bad at all, but the clear edges and moves of these tracks are defined a lot better. And the fact that they’re just really interesting. “Wailin” almost sounds just like its title. The sounds and melodies sound almost melancholy, but ANDRU somehow makes it upbeat and trappy at the same time. Not bad. “Bells” has a similar vibe, but sort of explores different harmonies and beats to accompany the clicky-type sound that makes up the main melody. We like his stuff and you should too.
